Review: It's been a while since I read this and I listened this time around. New to me narrator, would have liked a little more difference in the voices but decent performance. I enjoyed the story, definitely more angst than I prefer but this was one of the first gay romance books (purchased October 26, 2014!) and it holds up for me.

Review: This is a 3 star for me only because the narration was good for what the source material was. I actually listened to the first few chapters and realized I had no clue what was going on so I read the first 5 chapters then switched back to the wonderful audio. I found this kind of boring and slow a good part of the time, I also disliked 1 of the MCs for too long than I generally care for and there were way too many sexy times in this book or maybe they started too quickly? I don't know but I was not a fan. This likely would have been 2 stars except for my man Cornell!

Review: So this book really wasn't for me. First off way too much angst and the whole "I have a secret" trope is not a favorite of mine. What really got me is the fact that Sam was seriously considering not attending his sister's wedding! And not because his family hates him because he is gay but because he thought they were mad at him for breaking off his engagement last minute! I mean it is your SISTER, it shouldn't even have been a question whether he would attend or not! I found that just ridiculously stupid and it bothered me the entire book.

There are several teams that read mostly M/M, I am good with whichever is selected. I believe they include Teams 1, 4, 5, 7 (mostly? some?), 8 & 9 but again please double check me on these, just did a quick glance through the teams and may be mistaken.

Team 7 reads some, but not all MM. Team 8 has completed more tasks than the other all MM teams.
We should do team 8. How do you feel team?

Review: This was a re-listen and I think I may have actually enjoyed it more this time around. It's been a while and although I do not remember all of the specifics from the overall mystery I am finding it easier to follow. I don't know if I am paying better attention? The story kept me engaged and I loved the narration. I'll be working in the rest of the series, may revisit and bump this to 5 stars if I enjoy the rest this much a second time around.
