It’s not exactly what I’d call the ideal situation—being introduced to your bio-dad’s best mate only to realize he’s the sexy older guy you hooked up with a couple of weeks ago—but it’s also not the worst thing to ever happen in history. The way I see it, this is fate. The universe is throwing Shay Kelly in my path again because it knows how much I’ve been dying for

3.5 Stars!

Nice addition to the series. Though the guy on the cover #creepy.

Another age gap read, which I dig. Both main characters were likable.

There was plenty of steam and some good banter.

Didn't wow me but overall was a good, enjoyable read.
*fans self* Is it just me or does the steam intensify as this series goes on. We are now bordering erotica with plot territory. Actually we might have just crossed the line.

Oh boy, Shay and Jamie are hot for each other.
This is a let's keep it casual and be completely unaware that we're head over heals for each other plot.

I suppose these could be stand-alone but honestly, they are best enjoyed in order. All
4 smutty-steamy-funny-romantic-stars!!😍 🔥 💕 This was another fun ride into the Kelly clan as another brother Shay (the eldest Kelly) falls in love.... with the long lost son of his best friend.. 💘. Confused yet? 🤔 Well, you won't be if you have read the series in order.. 😉. Continuing on or to be more accurate picking up a little before the last one ended (Blake and Owen's story) we readers find Jamie (Blake's son) and Shay (Blake's bff) having an 🔥amazingly hot 🔥 one night stand after they meet ...more

Fun & Sassy! 3.5 Stars ⭐️

This was a short, sexy read! Double POV.

Hot sex
Age gap
From hook-up to lurve
Tons of family (which gets confusing, TBH)
And edibles!

There were a couple of continuity issues for me & I found my self rewinding/paging back to look for info I though I missed only to find it didn’t exist 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think it's funny how much this author thinks British people say "bloody". That aside this is my fave book in the series so far. The Kelly family group chats are always my fave bits of these books they are "bloody" hilarious. It felt a little rushed in some places but overall this is an easy, fun read. Onto the next in the series! ...more

When Jamie and Shay met for 'just a hookup', they didn't realized that the hookup would become a complicated 'family business'.
I love the Kelly's family interaction and their chat, also the love. A big family and all.
I haven't read Blake and Owen's story so far, I truly will! Because, I thought Blake is an awesome man.
Back to Jamie and Shay, even though they made it clear (and rules!) about their 'not relationship's relationship', when things had to ended, they're both misera

Re-read 1/26/21 in order to clarify a few things in my head after reading #6.5 in the series. I still love how open Jamie is about his relationships with his Mom and Grandfather. I'm much better at keeping the Kelly siblings straight (ha ha ha!) now that I've read all their stories except for Finn's, so that was much easier this time around. And Shay's breakdown after Jamie left -- I loved the "don't get too close, I have the flu!" BS he's honestly convinced himself about -- it's a good thing th ...more

Sexy and entertaining

Not really a standalone. I skipped the first two and it took me a while to untangle all the characters and relationships, and some stuff I just decided I didn't care enough to untangle.

It's a good story and I loved the MCs' confidence. They're both sexually confident, come from good families and have stable jobs. It's just a story about two guys meeting each other and unexpectedly developing feelings for each other. There was a natural evolution to their feelings and relatio
Too many things were glossed over and didn’t make sense for this book to be a five star read. It would have needed one or two more rounds of editing.

With that said, it still has all the qualities I expect from this series. Something light and funny.
Hot & Funny. Didn't feel the love nearly as much as the lust. Fun family. ...more
I loved Shay and Jamie together! 🥰

I’ve liked all three of these books and this one was definitely my favorite. I loved Jamie and Shay. Actually, the entire Kelly family is a lot of fun.

There’s so much fun with an age gap romance. Especially when you are having sex with your best friend’s son at the same time he’s developing a relationship with your younger brother. Can’t wait for book 4.

I really enjoy this series, but this one feels like a set-up for all the books to come. This was frankly the couple I least cared about. I still had lots of fun listening, but it did not give me the romance vibes I found in the previous two books.

I still like the first book the best but this one was sweet. I liked both characters and how it ties in with the previous book. I liked how innocent Shay was. Favourite part of the series is still the family group chats. I’m looking forward to Connor’s book.

Crazy Little Fling is the 3rd book in Ms Olsen’s Love & Luck series but can be read as a standalone. I would however suggest that you read Fake it ‘til You Make Out and Virtually Screwed as characters from both books are entwined in this book.
Book 3 follows Shay Kelly’s story. Shay and Jamie were supposed to be a one-night stand; however, an unexpected encounter throws them back into each other’s path. With a few weeks before Jamie returns to the UK, they decide to continue seeing each other. Th

I'm really loving this series, they're short, sexy and a lot of fun. Shay and Jamie are perfect together and I can't wait to read the rest of the Kelly's stories. The family are brilliant, the group messages crack me up. You definitely have to read the other books in the series, and honestly, it's not going to be a hardship. Highly recommended. ...more

I'm not exactly sure how to feel about this. First of all, I took my sweet time instead of finishing it in one day. I could've, I just didn't want to.

I can safely say that Isla Olsen's writing is enjoyable whether you fly through it in a couple of hours or read the book over few days time. It's simple, smutty, not too detailed, but detailed enough. The writing style is just right for me.

It was a miss, however, to have another age gap story so soon in the series after Virtually Sc

A Joyfully Jay review.

4 stars

This is a fun, light book with easy banter. Crazy Little Fling builds off of the Love & Luck series and overlaps the same time frame from book two in the series. It then makes for better reading if you have at least read Virtually Screwed. Heath and Declan from book one, Fake It ‘til You Make Out, are also present here, as well as Shay’s large family and all of the storylines do build on each other overall.

I really like when the chemistry between the MCs is evident

I love this series! This one was great. It was fun, no drama, parts that I laughed out loud at. Age gap and technically dad’s best friend... though Shay and Jamie didn’t know it when they first hooked up. And Jamie met his dad way later in life.. but still. His dad, Blake (from the previous book) was super supportive when he found out his best friend was hooking up with his son and fell in love with him.

Also super weird and kind of awkward but hilarious how all of their relationships would work

I don’t really get how they got to love. There’s nothing they did except have sex, and they barely talked...

But it was a nice fluffy read

I don't feel like finishing this book when I don't care for both MCs. They are not likable (maybe a little bit Shay) but I don't really feel the chemistry and a smooth storytelling. Book 1 and book 2 were better.

I have a really weird relationship with these books.....and this one was probably my least favorite. Not because it wasn't funny and I didn't enjoy all the family shenanigans, but because this one didn't feel like much of a romance to me.

Jamie and Shay meet and hookup one night and can't seem to get each other out of their heads. Which is odd for the notoriously single, one night stand guys they are. After weeks of not seeing each other, they meet again under the most unlikely circums
Apart from the fact there's like a million characters and if you don't read these in order you have no hope of figuring out who's who (and even if you do you're still screwed), these books significantly overlap with one another. It's more prominent with the last two books because the main characters all interact with each other so much. In this one, the story of Blake and Owen is continued because the main character in this Shay is Blake's best friend and Jamie is (view spoiler) ...more

***Spoilers thrown throughout this review***

After and when I was reading book 2 I was very curious about what will or what went down with Jamie and Shay. I also see what Jai meant about Shay and Jamie when he mentioned that Shay was a bit distracted when they went to Hampton and Owen didn’t have anything to worry about.

I believe Owen didn’t because Shay was distracted by Jamie. Plus; I figure that they both were going to end up liking each other more than

Jamie is over in America after doing a DNA test to find his father. His mother has never hid who he was But now he is old he wants to finally meet up. But the DNA test doesn't match with his father but his Uncle but its a good place to start. So he gets in touch telling him all about himself making sure to tell him he is a gay man ( he doesn't want to get to know his father if he cant except him for who he is) And his uncle promises to

People all over the world have one night stands. It’s not uncommon. Some people actually prefer them. Jamie and Shay are some people, and they enjoyed the heck out of one a few weeks ago...

This is the story of two strangers who had a connection they were unaware of. Did it stop them, once they found out? Nope, but they had rules. You know what theyvsay about rules, though...

I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet, and funny. The text convos amongst the Kelly clan were HILARIOUS. I’m a big fan o

So I'm gonna be the party pooper here and say that it was a fun but ultimately ok read.

There were some inconsistencies when the timeline was the same as in Blake's and Owen's book, aka the fact that Jamie figured out that Blake and Owen were together from asking him if he (Owen) is a Mets fan and when he said yes, he connected the dots from the convo he (Jamie) had with Blake on their first meeting, that was never mentioned here.

There were some formatting issues as well in the beginning when sce

Humor, steam, secret rendezvous, age gap and hearts wanting love. I really enjoyed the MC's and the flow of this book!   I liked how these MC's met, how once their paths crossed again they acted like men and created what they thought would be a good plan of spending time and not getting involved.  They had fun and were surprised when their hearts broke their own rules.  They then communicated again and they found a way to follow their hearts.  It was fun to watch their best laid rules become rul ...more
