Review:
This was certainly a story of twists and turns. Yes, there were a few errors... for instance, 5 years later does NOT a decade make. But overall this was an interesting tale of the innocent being wronged and the amazing ability that people have of making shit up with literally NO facts to support it whatsoever... kinda like our 45th president of the United States and his flunkies... grrr

Just remember there is a gay HEA! *grin*

I think, if I come across another book by this author, I would be compelled to read it...

I like this one the same if not a little more than the first. No angst or unnecessary drama, just a couple who is insanely supportive of each other. What a treat. A little bit of adventure and of course, butterflies. Who knew they were so fascinating! Loved this series.

I liked this book but after I started reading it I realized I hadn't in fact read the first book which of course would have helped as it was a continuation of the story.
However, I did enjoy it. Arik, a shamen is held captive after putting a love spell on the wolf pack's alpha.
Arik was also in fact a bobcat shifter who was adorable in cat form.
i don't know what it is but cat shifters do something for me.

Review:
I liked how genuine and relaxed these two MCs interact once they get through the beginning awkward phase where assumptions need to be set aside.

The 'mystery'/friction element, whilst central to the 2nd half, is a bit token :)

A refresh on the story (reread) so I could get on with the next book in the series.

I would rate this between 3 and 4 stars but I'm feeling generous so I'll go 4. This is one of those books that has the MCs together, than not, then together, both in pain because they're not together etc. I love the struggles that Dominic overcame and how the Romero's made him part of the family. Truly touching. Probably my favorite part of the story. His relationship with the son Flor being a close second but a bit exhausting. Glad I read it though. :)
