This was a cute little romance. Nothing remarkable about it but I did like the geek and jock mechanic trope. These guys already new each other so there was a level of familiarity from the start which really worked. So big trauma, just a nice read.

A fake boyfriend which after some angst turns into a real relationship. Kendall thinks that his sister Keira's lfatmate is her boyfriend but after a while realizes that there relationship is only one of friendship.
Luke, the flatmate is not really ready for a relationship but gets jealous when his cousin starts flirting with Kendall.
A nice way to spend an hour or 2.

All I can say is, "I am glad I have the next book in this series ready to read!"
Ms. Calmes writes characters that I either love or hate... there is no in-between for me and Ian and Miro definitely fall into the "love" category!
Now, to see how quickly I can fit Tied Up in Knots into my reading schedule...

This is my fav series by MC. I originally had them on my favorites list for this challenge, but I wasn't sure if everyone would love it as much, and Lisa and Shannon have read them I think?

I have meant to read this series for years, but have always passed it over for one reason or another, but now that I have started it... I am rushing to the end! I must find a challenge to fit book 3 into! LOL!!!

Except for the inconsistencies, I am enjoying this series! This story took us to a dark place with hard decisions being made... but, isn't that how real life is, also?
Yes, it would be nice if the "lack of communication" didn't come up in EVERY dang M/M book I read... but, I guess we are talking about two GUYS... is that sexist of me to say that? The guys will probably say yes and the gals will just shake their heads in understanding! *grin*

I really enjoyed the beginning of the book when Robert and Remy were just partners on the force and we got to learn their dynamic and Remy's place in Robert's family. Then they get together and it's all "Daddy" and "Baby" and where in the hell did "Daddy" come from? It seemed super out of place in this book. And it never stopped. Not a fan. Then the big case they're working on....it was good then just....over. Guy confesses. Wth? Ooookay. Anyways, not bad, not great.

Review:
This was a quick, entertaining read! But, I will say that I thought the "bad guy" got off too easy. Hours, days, weeks or even months of torture before his imminent demise would have been more appropriate to my way of thinking... just sayin'!
I kinda liked the whole "omega in charge" thing that Cody and Levi had going on! I think after six years of NO control in his life, and the fact that he probably had a dominant nature to begin with, it was only natural for Cody to feel the need to be able to finally control pretty much every aspect of his life! And it sure didn't look like Levi had a problem with that! *grin*
Looks like book 3 will be Boomer's story and I am sure that I will be reading it as time and challenges permit!

This book was okay but sometimes I wonder if these books are really written by the same author. Compared to, say the No Shame series, this book just read kind of stilted and awkward with boring sex scenes. Such a difference. And did the editor quit? There were some odd sentences that didn't make sense. Ex. "Reid, so happy you're here, honey"...."You too mom". Um, what? You too what? Things like that. I'm just confused! Of course, I'll still read the next one because now I've got to know but I'm a little scared.

Ugh! Almost 400 pages and not even a "good" just an "okay"... I hate when that happens! And, yes... we must continue the series, no matter what... *headdesk* LOL!!!I try to NOT start a new series when picking my SH books, but it is oh so tempting sometimes, but I have way too many already started! Of course, this is NOT a hard and fast rule for me! hehehehe
It was kind of painful. And I usually love the author so it was really weird. I have no rules, I tell ya. I'll read anything anytime in any order unless someone tells me it must be read in order.

Whiskey is undercover as as assistant coach.
Another good story whilst the overarching story of Gabes death is still going on on the background. Interested to see how this story ends in the next book.
