Well, that was a surprise. If I had to use one word to describe how I felt about this book, it would be "disconnected". For some reason, neither MC worked for me. I had high hopes because Dylan had made such an impression on me earlier in the series and It was like this Dylan was a completely different person.
That is not to say that I won't be continuing with the series, because we all know that occasionally things just don't click with one book and then the next one ends up being the best read of the week! So, move on I shall...

I really enjoy reading cozy mysteries especially those set in a quaint english village.
This book had a really good plot which kept me guessing as to the killer right up to the reveal.
My only question was why the author made the MC a vampire.
Perhaps this will come out in future books

Loved this book...once I figured it out. It went from present to past and at one point present to future and honestly, I was freaking lost! I even went back to the last chapter trying to figure out how we got there. After a few more chapters, I got it but how confusing. The last half of the book was just present which was much more enjoyable. I loved the dynamic and pull between these two and the fact that it was easy just made me love them more. Hockey and rock? What's not to love!

Review:
Let me start off by saying that I haven't read a "little red book" for years. For some strange reason, I find them comforting when I find a cause to read one. Maybe it comes from my "harlequin" days as a teenager first discovering romance novels. The formulas may change a bit from author to author, but the stories are always entertaining and give me my HEA!
Now let me say what I have said at least a thousand times when writing a review... COMMUNICATION! What a wonderful place this world would be if people would just get their heads out of their asses and talk to each other! I think most authors include this in the formula as a means of fiction reflecting reality.
As for Braxton and Xander? I knew they would eventually get things worked out (you remember the guaranteed HEA) but they sure did some stupid shit to get there! I was glad that Braxton had Keeton and that Xander has his "brothers". I noticed that Keeton's story is the next book and I look forward to reading it one of these days when I need a short, sweet comfort read... *grin*

This one was better than the last one but still not as good as the first two. The snark, banter and humor were still present but the couple was....I don't know if I bought it. I didn't feel their chemistry. It's like they were two dimensional or something like that. I can't explain, I just didn't love them.

Gosh how I love this series. I love the authors style of writing and the many moments I have chuckling to myself.
This episode revolves around Fabian and Rhys. Whilst out ring shopping Fabian signs up for a sex study, from there he gets involved with Rhys.
Fabian is such a cute character. I see him kind of a 18th century dandy, of course he isn't but its the idea of him having so many rings.
Can't wait for Steffan's story and to see who the author will match with him.

Another book that I can't explain what was missing! I enjoyed it enough to read it quickly without wanting to stop but I don't know if that was because of the interesting world building or the couple. It was long book but their part in it seemed kind of rushed and not complete. There were a ton of characters introduced so I got a bit confused here and there but nothing too bad. I wanted to "feel" their connection not just see it but I didn't. And I don't know why. Interesting read but I'm hoping book two is better.

Review:
While we didn't see Finn, Talon, and a few of the other guys until the very end of the book... the story was still a solid 5-star read for me! Seb's life had become hell on Earth and the one person who should have been loving and caring for him had become the person who was allowing him to be hurt.
Gray walked through the door of Seb's home expecting one thing, but found something else completely! As the trust built so did the emotions and with it came the truth of the many betrayals in Seb's life. But, have NO fear, we get our HEA... eventually! *grin*
As always, when it is possible, I like to send out a shout when we get a strong female character in a story, and let me tell you... Pink wrote the book on being strong!

This one made me tear up quite a few times but not for the reasons I enjoy that. It was the loneliness of losing a spouse and treatment of a little child but they were necessary for the backstory of their current wants. Loved how they met, loved seeing their progression. Didn't love the keeping secrets from each other. That never turns out well. Definitely a worthy read.
