Quinn Anderson is an alumna of the University of Dublin in Ireland and has a master’s degree in psychology. She wrote her dissertation on sexuality in popular literature and continues to explore evolving themes in erotica in her professional life.

A nerd extraordinaire, she was raised on an unhealthy diet of video games, anime, pop culture, and comics from infancy. Her girlfriend swears her sense of humor is just one big Buffy reference. She stays true to her nerd roots in writing and in life, and frequently draws inspiration from her many fandoms, which include Yuri on Ice, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Buffy, and more. Growi

Wow, thank you so much for this question. I'm thrilled to hear you enjoy my book, and I look forward to reading your review!

Will I write more? The answer is a resounding and enthusiastic YES. I'm 60,000 words into my next m/m romance novel as we speak. It's called Hotline, and it's about a young, sexy college drop out named Jake who's working as a Phone Sex Operator to make ends meet. Most of Jake's clients are boring perverts, but then one day he gets a call from a man with a voice like sin and a *delightful* imagination... Though Jake knows it's stupid and doesn't know anything about this mysterious man, he can't help but get pulled deeper and deeper into the fantasy.

I don't know who I'm going to publish it through when it's finished, but I'm definitely not going to abandon it. It should be out next year!(less)

Thanks so much for this. In Excess was ten years old and in need of some updating, so I scrapped it down to the bones and rewrote it. It's being re-released under the new title The Academy. It's out in a few weeks. You can find it on my page! I hope you enjoy it as well. <3(less)

"4.25 Stars!

So, first thing first, while Howling on Hold is book 1 in the series, it can't be read as a standalone. There are a lot of recurring characters from E.J. Russell's Fae out of Water and Supernatural Selection series and you'll be lost and/o" Read more of this review »

“Well-developed characters will ruin your writing plans every time. You may think you know where you're going with a story, but they have other ideas.”

“Nik gripped his fork so tightly his knuckles turned white. His temper flared up like a beast inside him, clawing at the walls of its fleshy prison.”
Quinn Anderson, In Excess

“The hardest part about writing is falling in love with your characters. I can't even tell you how many times I've wanted to take one of them out for a beer, but I can't, because I made them up in my head. It's heart breaking, but it also means you created someone real, and there's no equivalent for that feeling.”
