just an fyi: some of my books on this shelf are rated, but i want to re-read them, so everything on this shelf is fair game.

Please use my cant-wait-to-read shelf. Thanks!

Thanks! You could also friend the person picking for you, if you'd prefer to keep your profile private :)

Snow White:
The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski (TBR)
Longest on TBR - I've been seeing lots of good things about this book and hope to read it myself soon. I can never decide whether to wait until YA series are finished before starting them though.
Twisted by Emma Chase (NEW)
White Cover - Looks like you enjoyed the first book and the middle novella... keep going! I read Tangled a while ago and remember it being very funny. I've got it on my list for a reread before finally reading the rest myself.

Ariel:
Wicked by Jennifer L. Armentrout (TBR)
NA and Underwater Cover - I haven't read this one but I've yet to read anything I don't like from Armentrout.
A Night to Surrender by Tessa Dare (NEW)
Set on a Cove - You didn't have much historical romance but I think Tessa Dare is one of my favorites.

Belle:
I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson (TBR)
Yellow Cover - Or at least the yellowest I could find... :P Another YA I've heard nothing but great things about.
Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh (NEW)
Shifter Romance - I'm new to this series and excited to read more. I don't like to binge read series but this one definitely is wonderful enough to tempt me. Singh is similar to Jeaniene Frost which I saw you liked. This is more towards the romance end of the spectrum though rather than urban fantasy.

Cinderella:
Manipulation by Eden Winters (TBR)
Release in Nov '14
Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley (NEW)
Blue Cover - I haven't read this one but I'm enjoying the Rock Chick series too.

Anna:
Cinder by Marissa Meyer (TBR)
Hyped Book - One of my favorite YA series! So clever and creative and askdfk. So good.
Second Act by Kaje Harper (NEW)
Icey Cover - I saw several books by Kaje Harper highly rated on your list and just happened to see this on the most read this week for M M Romance.

Repunzel:
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (TBR)
Pink Cover - I wish I could say I've read this! Classics burn me out really fast though.
Ride with Me by Ruthie Knox (NEW)
Swoonworthy Hero - A romance across the TransAmerica Trail. Almost makes me want to take up bicycling... psh.

Tiana:
Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas (TBR)
Magic - I keep meaning to make time for this series, it sounds sooo good.
The Magpie Lord by K.J. Charles (NEW)
Magic - A few people of my friends list have given this 4/5 stars. Hope it's something you might like.
Jewels of the Sun by Nora Roberts (NEW)
Green Cover - You've only got one Nora Roberts book on your read list but it looks like you enjoyed it. I've enjoyed the majority of the ones I've read but haven't personally read this one. I'll get to it eventually!

Mulan:
One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost (TBR)
Kickass Heroine - It doesn't get much more kickass than Cat :D
Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie (NEW)
Kickass Heroine - Min is kickass in her own way. Very funny book if it's your kind of humor.

Didn't we just do this? =)

Greetings, Stacy!
I'm brand new at this so please don't hesitate to let me know if there's something I need to do differently. I'm inexperienced, but not easily offended, so please, just be honest with me! :) Happy reading! I hope you'll find a story or two that you enjoy.
Snow White: (Book with a white cover)
Forever Ours by Cassia Leo. From your TBR list.
Ariel: (Water scene on the cover)
Enter the Brethren by Barbara Devlin. From your TBR list.
Belle: (Shifter romance)
The Wolf Within by Cynthia Eden.
Cinderella: (Blue cover)
Have Me by J. Kenner. From your TBR list.
Anna: (Snow on the cover)
Snow Angel by Melanie Shawn. From your TBR list.
Rapunzel: (Pink on the cover)
Sweet Addiction by J. Daniels.
Tiana: (Witches theme)
You Slay Me by Katie MacAlister.
Mulan: (Weapon on cover)
Dark Lover by J.R. Ward.

Ariel:
Sweet Evil (New), it's YA paranormal (which is not my thing) but I enjoyed this one and the second book in the series.
Infinity (New), another YA paranormal (maybe it is my thing?) that I started reading after Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series, and I think I enjoy this one more!
Belle:
Kiss of Midnight (TBR), hot, vampire series. Not much different than others out there, but still definitely recommended.
Slave to Sensation (New), best shifter PNR series IMO! Plus, Nalini is the year long buddy read :)

Snow White:
TBR: Never Been Kissed - Gotta love Mari Carr...
NEW: Sinner's Gin - I love this series!
Ariel:
TBR: Only with You - I haven't read much by this author, but what I have read I've liked, and I know you like her, too.
NEW: Circle of Change - I've been hearing interesting things about this one...possibly a buddy read?
Belle:
TBR: Slave to Sensation - Definitely worth a reread to get back into an amazing series.
NEW: Moon Called - I really enjoy this series, and the narration of the audiobook is excellent. OR Skinwalker - I've only read one of the prequel shorts for this, but it was very intriguing.
Cinderella:
TBR: Bound by Flames - I can't wait to get into this one! OR Quarterback Draw - the Featured Author for February.
NEW: After Ben - I enjoy this series, especially the first one which visits a small town very near my little corner of the world
Anna:
TBR: Kodiak's Claim - Just finished this a couple of days ago, and really enjoyed it...typical Eve Langlais
NEW: I got nothin' =P
Rapunzel:
TBR: Interlude in Death - Mmmmm, Roarke...
NEW: Fatal Affair - Nick's not too shabby either!
Tiana:
TBR: Blood Magick - Time to finish the series.
NEW: Charmed Spirits - Cute story, start of a potentially good, fun series.
Mulan:
TBR: Midnight Promises - It's Lisa Marie Rice...that's enough recommendation for me!
NEW: First Grave on the Right - She's the Grim Reaper, I don't think you can get much more kickass than that...and the narration is very good, too!
I hope you find some here that will make you happy...enjoy!

Here are your picks for February. I hope you find something of interest :)
Snow White: You had quite a few books that would have worked for this category this month, but Caressed by Ice has been on your tbr shelf for awhile. Judd is actually my favourite of the psy-changeling's so I hope you enjoy it!
Ariel: The Twilight Before Christmas - Is the second of the Drake Sisters book all of which take place near or around water in some way. I wasn't that much of a fan of the first novella and I usually hate Christmas themed novella's but Kate and Matt won me over with how adorably clumsy they were with each other.
You could also try The Wanderer if you're not wanting a novella read this month.
Belle: I'm going to suggest you give Magic Burns a go. You get to see the developing relationship between Kate and Curran (aka the Beast Lord). I love how Ilona Andrews can write about a characters vulnerability but not make them weak. Give it a go.
Cinderella: Prelude - picked just because I liked the shade of blue :)
Anna: Snow Falling on Bluegrass - Molly Harper is my go to had-a-bad-day author. I wasn't a huge fan of this series but I do love a good shut-in romance.
Repunzel: Swoonworthy hero? Well it has to be a Jaci Burton book. Go with Hope Ignites or Quarterback Draw
Tiana: Bound by Flames okay so it's a kind-of green :).
Mulan: Stormwalker's Janet is definitely kick ass. I recommend the audiobook version if you enjoy reading that way.

What are these 'other types' of which you speak? ;D"
Well, recent picks have included history, non-fiction, fiction that is not romance (ie not the focus of the book), chit lit, coming-of-age stories etc. I like all these genre's and have enjoyed some of these picks, but am looking for romance picks from this group and was trying to get some romances to read this month. Thanks.

Thank goodness we're a romance group! :)"
I only got 2 romance picks out of 8 last month. I did enjoy the picks, so it was ok, but I'm really looking for romance picks this month. Since I've been sometimes getting a majority of other types of books (history, chit lit, general fiction, nonfiction, literature) recommended, I was trying to specify the genre in hopes that the challenge would work better for me. I did PM my person this time, and am hoping that I caught her in time before she worked on any recommendations.

Hi Tania, thanks for the picks...they're great! If I had enough time I could see myself reading all of them, but I know that's not going to happen. I'm sure at the very least I'll be reading (or listening to, as the case may be) Caressed by Ice, Quarterback Draw, and Bound by Flames, and hopefully will fit some more in toward the end of the month.
Thanks again, and welcome back! :D

Sure thing! I noticed you didn't sign up and I almost PMed you :D

Here are your picks. I hope you find something you enjoy or are willing to try. I did try to make sure these were all romance :-) Let me know if you need any re-picks.
Snow White:
NEW: Borrowed Stilettos – Rebecca J. Clark – White on cover
TBR: Wife by Wednesday – Catherine Bybee – Older than a year and white on cover.

Ariel:
NEW: Maid for Love – Marie Force – A most excellent series!
TBR: Beach House No. 9 – Christie Ridgway – There is a prequel to this series, Beach House Beginnings, but you could get by without reading it :-)

Belle:
NEW: Bonded – Nicky Charles – Another most excellent series. There are really two story arcs in the series that take place somewhat interwovenly – the author’s website offers 2 ways to read but either way, you wouldn’t really encounter any spoilers. This one is a prequel more to the Betrayed story arc but occurs before The Mating (IIRC).
TBR: He Loves Lucy – Susan Donovan – Yellow cover and a great romance with a non-traditional heroine.

Cinderella:
NEW: Skating on Thin Ice – Jami Davenport – This is a the first in a new series by the author, so I haven’t read it but I can’t resist a sports themed romance! Released Sept 2014 AND blue cover ;-)
TBR: The Prince Who Loved Me – Karen Hawkins – Blue cover, released Sept 2014

Anna:
NEW: Cover Me – Catherine Mann – This is romantic suspense. I didn't see a lot of that on your TBR, so I hope you give it a try. It doesn't totally take place near the snow, but a good portion does. I really loved the series.
TBR: The Gamble – Kristen Ashley – Snow on cover

Repunzel:
NEW: Prince Joe – Suzanne Brockmann – This is an older series but I’d swoon for any of the heroes in it. This is the first of the series.
TBR: Never Seduce a Scot – Maya Banks – Pink on the cover and isn't any Highland hero swoonworthy? :-D

Tiana:
NEW: A Taste of Magic – Tracy Madison – This was one of the first set of books I read when I first got my kindle so I have a special fondness for the series (yeah, I’m weird like that). But it is a fun light-hearted book with magic!
TBR: Girl's Guide to Witchcraft – Mindy Klasky – I really enjoyed this series.

Mulan:
NEW: Cry No More – Linda Howard – This is one tough chick!!
TBR: Offside – Juliana Stone – Any heroine who can play hockey professionally has to be kickass!

Here are my picks for you, we read different stuff so let me know if I've hit the mark on my new picks for you (I tried to stay in your genres). If not let me know I can send a few more.
Snow White:
TBR: Edge Play X by M. Jarrett Wilson {you have nothing old on your TBR … cover is white}
New: Blackness Takes Over (The Blackness #1) by Norma Jeanne Karlsson (kinda white, came out last Jan)

Ariel:
TBR: The Demarcation of Jack (Fractured Fidelities Trilogy, #1) by Dana Bennett, Blakely Bennett {waterfall on cover}
New: On Dublin Street (On Dublin Street #1) by Samantha Young {New Adult recommended to me several times I just haven’t had a chance to read it yet}

Belle:
TBR: Training Their Mate (Pack Wars #1) by Vella Day
New: Tempting the Beast (Breeds #1) by Lora Leigh {shifters sort of, erotic}

Cinderella:
TBR: Hot Mess (Hostile Operations Team #2) by Lynn Raye Harris
New: A Condo with Two Views by Al Daltrey {released Jan ’15}

Anna:
TBR: Craving Red (Erotic Kingdom #1) by Rosalind Scarlett
New: Best Bondage Erotica 2014 – Anthology {4.65 rating}

Repunzel:
TBR: Perception (Club Destiny #6) by Nicole Edwards
New: Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling #1) by Nalini Singh {pink cover, I LOVE the hero in this book}

Tiana:
TBR: Rekindled (Titanium Security #5) by Kaylea Cross
New: Something Wicked This Way Comes, Volume 1 – Anthology {erotic, witches, green cover}

Mulan:
TBR: Bulletproof Bride by J.R. Turner
New: In the Black (Tales from the Edge #1) by Sheryl Nantus {something complete different, strong heroine, space opera}

Snow White
TBR: Down to You Interesting twist in here.
NEW: Rule I enjoy this series more and more with each installment. (and at least his shirt is white)

Ariel
TBR: Simply Irresistible Sweet start to a sweet series.
NEW: Surviving Raine Very intense survival tale.

Belle
TBR: Kitty and the Midnight Hour Haven't had a chance to move on with the series but this was a solid start.
NEW: Dragon Bound Great book and great series!!! A must read.

Cinderella
TBR: Mystery Man Uber Alpha Sexy Male!
NEW: A Hunger Like No Other Indulge me here please as I have a pet peeve with GRs over this book... GRs like to lable this as #2 in the series, however the author actually wrote it first. The other is a prequel. I personally think that the 'mystery' in this book is ruined if you read the other first.... OK, rant over.

Anna
TBR: Tangled Funny, sexy story told from the hero's perspective.
NEW: On Dublin Street This and all the books that follow are totally worth all the hype.

Rapunzel:
TBR: Third Grave Dead Ahead Reyes... 'nuf said.
NEW: Neanderthal Seeks Human: A Smart Romance I love a book with smart humor and I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

Tiana
TBR: Dark Witch Maybe not the best PNR from Nora, but still a solid read.
NEW: The Book of Life Great end to the trilogy and I know this is on your TBR, but it's not on your "pick-it-for-me" list and it's really, really hard to find books not on your TBR ;)

Mulan
TBR: Echoes at Dawn I think this is when Maya Banks first starts adding a paranormal element to this series and I really enjoyed it.
NEW: Naked in Death by J.D. Robb 40 books in and it never gets old...and no one's more badass than Eve Dallas.

I hope you find at least one great read in here Sadie.
HAPPY READING!

Here is your list. It was fun picking books for you, so I hope you like them. I noticed that you have only recently joined Good Reads and don't have a huge "Read" shelf yet, so if there are books here that you have already read, PLEASE let me know and I will choose replacements. Happy reading!
Snow White - The Language of Flowers - white cover, excellent story Anne of Green Gables - an older one from your TBR - also a good series
Ariel - Virgin River - The first book in this series doesn't have the river on the cover but others do show water, and it is a great romance series! Secrets on the Sand - good one WITH water on the cover - a quick read Perfect Chemistry Eleanor & Park - two really good YA stories
Belle - Sugar Daddy - yellow cover and really good story A Discovery of Witches - not exactly shifter but really good story with witches, vampires, werewolves, and other creatures, some of whom fall in love and create havoc when they do
Cinderella - Falcon Moon - blue cover A Little Something Different - newer and quite good
Anna Snowfall- snow on the cover and in the plot The Rosie Project - This book has received a lot of well-deserved hype.
Rapunzel - Strawberry Shortcake Murder - pink cover and a heroine who has two hunks interested in her! Naked in Death - Roarke - definitely a hunk!
Tiana The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie green cover and a really good story! Garden Spells - green AND magic - really good
Mulan Code Name: Bikini- A weapon and a bikini on this cover. A good story and although part of a series, you don't necessarily have to read them in order. (I didn't, and still enjoyed them very much.) Must Love Otters - A great heroine who would like to be kickass...and tried....but is really in a very hilarious and excellent situation and romance!

Unfortunately it appears our reading tastes are very different - I have picked a TBR and a new to you book for each category so hopefully at least one of the new ones will appeal to you a..."
