yeah those covers are hawt. My favorite cover is still #1. :)
MK - finished my first pick,
. I liked it well enough, 4 stars, but it was definitely time to say goodbye to Cat & Bones. The past few novels have been kinda meh, so I guess I gave an extra star for the nostalgia-factor. This was one of the first series I've discovered here on GR through the various group threads. Ah, memories... Thanks again for the pick!

Hey Fran...I've finished a few of your picks...
Secrets on the Sand ★★★★ 2/9, quick read and well written
The Suit ★★★★★ 2/7, loved this one! I'll be recommending this for sure!
...next is Push...I think this is going to be a controversial read!

I am so glad you enjoyed it. I agree the whole Meghan Ash and Puck triangle can be a bit anonying.

When do you plan on reading Push? I would love to read it with you, I'm just not sure of my timing. My parents are coming in from out of town tomorrow to stay with us for 10 days, so I have a feeling I won't get much reading in. If you read it in the next few weeks let me know how it is.....I'm hoping to get to it by the end of the month :)

Hi Suzanne! Thank you again for the great picks. I finished reading Sweet Addiction by J Daniels. :) I'm currently working on Curve Crazy by Adriana Hunter. Hope can get through of few more of your picks before the month is up. :)

Fran--Not sure if you recd my message...I don't remember where I left it...I'm actually almost done with Push...sorry I didn't wait for you...you have to read it! It's...wow!...different. I'm going to hold ALL other comments until you've read.

Sounds intriguing! I will try to get to it before the end of the month :)
Hi ~KarenH~, it's about time I updated! I've read four of my picks so far - Quarterback Draw, Interlude in Death, Bound by Flames and Kodiak's Claim. I have really enjoyed all of them!!I am almost done with a fifth pick, Slave to Sensation, too! I hope to get a few more in - need to check in with some other challenges first though. Thanks for the awesome picks!

Hello Beppy,
So far I have read.
*** Stars
*** Stars
*** Stars
*** StarsBreaking the Silence was my favorite so far... Thank you for the picks.
P.S. I am a really harsh rater so three stars is actually really good for me.
Laurla--Finished my 3rd pick this month,
and liked it. Ridiculous premise, but the author pulls it off quite well. I will likely read more of the series. Thanks!
Ashley wrote: "UnusualChild{beppy} wrote: "hi, ashley.i'll be honest and admit that this was a little difficult for me, because while we have plenty of books in common, we rarely rated them the same way, or eve..."
i'm glad you enjoyed "breaking the silence", ashley. i had hoped that you might when i was picking it for you.
I just read . . .
** StarsI had a hard time connecting with the characters. I found them to be a bit boring.
Finished my second and third picks over the last few days. Just not able to post. For Tiana:
2/12My best friend absolutely loves this series. I wasn't a fan of this particular one. Mostly because I couldn't connect with the two characters. Otherwise it was good. I'm hoping future books are better.
For Rapunzel:
I have no idea where to begin. An erotica author (character in the book, not the author of this book) who has no knowledge of anything erotic? Not a good basis for any character in any story.
Hi ~KarenH~, I finished Slave to Sensation and really enjoyed it! In fact I'll be starting Visions of Heat this week!I'm still hoping to get to a couple more picks and the way things are going this month, I think that is a good possibility. =)

I'm loving the reread on audio! I think it's better the second time around since I don't have to muddle through all the world building.
Hi Tammie!I finished two more...
Fall from India Place I really enjoy this series. It's become one of my favorite series and I always stay up way too late reading them!
True Brit Aw! This was cute and different from what I've read by Con in the past.
Thanks for the picks!
Breann wrote: "I'm loving the reread on audio! I think it's better the second time around since I don't have to muddle through all the world building."I completely agree! This is such a complicated world, it really required focus the first time through and a I couldn't listen since I read the first few before the audios came out. So between the audio and having a feel for the world already, it is much easier to just enjoy the story! I'll be at least a third of the way through Visions of Heat by the time I am done today!
Diane ~firefly~I kinda cheated - I read The Winter Courtship Rituals of Fur-Bearing Critters and Super Sock Man - books 1 & 2 the end of Jan as they were short and filled avoid. They were awesome - so I substituted How to Raise an Honest Rabbit book 3 for your book 1 pick and loved it. This series is just such a fun sweet series and OMG (view spoiler) I have a couple more I want to get to - have to see how the month goes :)
I finished my first pick, Infinity by Sherrilyn Kennyon. I probably mispelled the named. I liked it. I am glad you suggested it. It was a bit slow in the beginning but I already put book #2 in my tbr pile.the only irritating part was not every YA book needs to have a slow, for lack of a better word, main character. They always catch on in the end.
Hmmm... not sure what I will read next.

Glad you like the series
Elke wrote: "Ty,ok, read my 4th pick
-it was alright for me...I am just glad it is out of my TBR! ;)"Oh I love and hate it when I come across books like that. but so happy it's off the list, right?? :)
MK - finished my 2nd pick,
, 4 stars!I was wondering how it could possibly top the first book, and it didn't, but that's okay, because it was good in it's own right. There were still sexy times, and there were still some funny moments, and I'm oh so happy the next few books are of new characters and not the three establish couples. Thanks for the pick!

I definitely might have to do the first few in audio again, since like you, Kat, I read the first three. and they were just all meh (except for Jude's, whew). But I loved some of the later books, all of which I started in audio. hmmmm.
Fran wrote: "Hi Kristin!I finished my first pick...Disarm

I read a second pick from your list....Marley in Chains
. I really liked the characters, but because it was so short, I felt like I didn't get enough of them. I wish it were longer, and a little less choppy, but I still really enjoyed it. Thanks for the push to get it off my tbr!

I'm glad you liked it! I'm planning on reading book 3 in that series pretty soon.
I finished another one, Tammie! I'm so glad you recommended Sugar Daddy. I'm not sure I'd have read it otherwise and I just adored it. I laughed and cried and couldn't stop listening. I was actually looking for more laundry/dishes/cleaning to do so I could keep listening. O___O (I can't just sit and listen, I have to be doing someone else)
Hi Ana - I've read 2 picks so far this month. Confessions of an Alli Cat made me LOL several times! Excellent pick and I thank you for it!! I can't wait for the second book :-DMulan:
✔NEW: Confessions of an Alli Cat – Courtney Cole
-- 02.18 ★★★★
✔TBR: No Place to Hide – Shannon Stacey
-- 02.10 ★★★★
Hi Carla_ColletteI finished my first pick and really enjoyed it! Thank you!
I think I'm going to go with
next.
Tana wrote: "Hey UnusualChild, sorry your picks are late.Snow White: Northanger Abbey (NEW)
Ariel: Angels Fall (TBR)
Belle: Caressed by Ice (TBR)
Cinderella:
hi, tana.
i've read Angels Fall and Caressed by Ice and really enjoyed them both. i had read "angels fall" before and didn't really enjoy it, but i really liked it this time around. 4 star read for me. and "caressed by ice" was so good. i really liked brenna and judd together; i think that this series just keeps getting better. 5 stars.
i also read Twice Tempted and i was very disappointed. i had read the novella preceding this book and really enjoyed it, but the writing in the book was just...poorly done. 2 stars.
thank you for the picks.
Macwolf01, I just finished up
and I loved it. Nicole Edwards has never disappointed me yet. Thanks for the great pick!

Taralinda,Thank you SO much for recommending Red Hot Lies because it was beyond fabulous! I have had it sitting on my shelves for a couple of years (!) and I would not have picked it up had it not been for your recommendation. I can't believe I was missing this great book for so long! I have already pulled the next one in this series to read next because this one was SO good!
Thanks again! I hope you are having a good reading month yourself. It is cold and snowing where I live (in the Northeast of the US) so it is a good time to stay indoors and read.

Ty wrote: " definitely might have to do the first few in audio again"I'm really enjoying the two I've listened to, have to get a few others out of the way before I can continue, but I'm really looking forward to it!
I'm glad you have enjoyed your picks Ty!
~KarenH~, I read another pick - Never Been Kissed! I really liked it, it sucked me and I finished it rather than do other things I should have been doing. =P Not that I expected anything else from Mari Carr - her stuff works for me!
I have Finished another pick, Desire Unchained and hopefully I will have time for Blood Bound and The Girl on the Train
Finished my 4th pick!For Cinderella:
It was alright. I would have liked to have read more of a background on the main characters meeting and falling for each other. But the story was good otherwise. Main female character having a stalker is played out though. But I loved how she still stood up to those around her anyway.
Amy, thanks for getting me back into this series. It had been sitting on my TBR shelf for way too long for no good reason.
Why did I wait so long to read this book?!? I'm sooo glad it showed up on my pick list...absolutely loved it!
Fran wrote: "Fran wrote: "Hi Kristin!I finished my first pick...Disarm

Glad you liked it! I also have that with short stories, when they are good I want so much more and am just not satisfied with a short :)
Hi Rebecca! I just finished up my second pick, Manhunting by Jennifer Crusie. It was a lot of fun :D I've enjoyed all of the other Crusie books I've read but I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this one as it's older (possibly the first book she wrote..?). Manhunting ended up being just as good as the others though!I'm also very slowly working on one of your new-to-me picks (A Game of Thrones). I LOVE it but it's not something I can just sit and read for hours. I've been reading a chapter every night before bed. I hope to finish it sometime this decade ;) I actually ended up buying the kindle 'box set' that has all five books. Never again!! There's nothing worse than reading for weeks and still being on only 2%.
Hi Sadie!I was able to finish two picks this month but I doubt I'll have time for more...
The Sinner had a heroine I wanted to punch in the throat and Shifting Dreams was a bit predictable, but still good. I enjoyed Elizabeth Hunter's Elemental Mysteries series much more.
Thanks again for the picks!
