Hey honey! I'm having a hard time finding some of these books as you haven't tagged anything or given author names and their are multiple with the same title and I don't wanna end up reading something that wasn't what you inteneded.
Also, My Life in shambles is on my read list 😂

Laura | 27 comments So sorry about the confusion that I caused Chaos! I went back and added all the author's names to my list of recommendations for you and gave you a new replacement for My Life In Shambles. It's a good thing I didn't do the bonus one or I might have gotten that wrong too!!! LOL!

By the way if you would like to do a buddy read on Sway then let me know!

Your right honey! I just wasn't sure and didn't want to read the wrong one. Thankyou! I'm 100% okay with not having bonus books, I'm so behind on ARC reads and probably wouldn't have been able to get to them.

Also with Love at First Sight by Maggie Dallen, was it ment to be Love at First Fight? If so, this is another one I've read, but please don't feel the need to repick it if it is. I'm okay with one less book. Lol.

We can definitely do a buddy read. I'll send you a friend request 😍

It took some doing, but I managed to find some new authors for you. I hope you like your picks.

Successful: Happy Hour at Casa Dracula by Marta Acosta which has formal dress and was a fun read. Or check out a good YA romance Prince in Disguise by Stephanie Kate Strohm where a teen is forced to be on a reality TV show about her sister marrying royalty.

Happy Hour at Casa Dracula (Casa Dracula, #1) by Marta Acosta Prince in Disguise by Stephanie Kate Strohm

Independent/Self-Reliant: I enjoyed this cozy paranormal mystery The Trouble With Magic by Madelyn Alt. You mention you like SciFi and this is one of my all time favorites as it has a great message for all - Phule's Company by Robert Asprin.

The Trouble With Magic (A Bewitching Mystery, #1) by Madelyn Alt Phule's Company (Phule's Company, #1) by Robert Lynn Asprin

Intelligent/Smart: This auto-biography seems like it would be interesting - By Myself by Lauren Bacall. Or we have a high school student learning she is really a reincarnated goddess in My Ex From Hell by Tellulah Darling.

By Myself by Lauren Bacall My Ex From Hell (The Blooming Goddess Trilogy, #1) by Tellulah Darling

Out-Spoken/Out-Going: I read the first one in this series and thought it was an interesting premise (and I'm certain their will be traveling) - No Time Like the Past by Jodi Taylor. Great sports/family romance in (the twins are adorable) Room for You by Beth Ehemann.

No Time Like the Past (The Chronicles of St. Mary's, #5) by Jodi Taylor Room for You (Cranberry Inn, #1) by Beth Ehemann

Resourceful: One Golden Ring by Cheryl Bolen definitely qualifies as historical. What to do when you come from a family of assassins and they want you to start training your daughter and you start dating a new guy - 'Scuse Me While I Kill This Guy by Leslie Langtry

One Golden Ring (Brazen Brides #2) by Cheryl Bolen 'Scuse Me While I Kill This Guy (Bombay Assassins, #1) by Leslie Langtry

Bold: Very striking cover and I know it is very popular - Scythe by Neal Shusterman. Or check out a great cozy mystery involving baking and real estate in Florida in And Then There Were Crumbs by Eve Calder.

Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1) by Neal Shusterman And Then There Were Crumbs (A Cookie House Mystery, #1) by Eve Calder

Brave: A couple paranormal stories here. First we have Grave Witch by Kalayna Price where Alex works with the police and has a "friendship" with Death. Or something a bit lighter in To Woo A Warrior by Jane Cousins where warrior Hadleigh is sent undercover on a reality ghost hunting TV show and learns it is a cover for fighting real monsters. Great introduction to this series which so far has continued to entertain.

Grave Witch (Alex Craft, #1) by Kalayna Price To Woo A Warrior (Southern Sanctuary, #1) by Jane Cousins

Anything but Shy: A lovely pastel cover for The J.A.P. Chronicles by Isabel Rose. I realize this is book 2 of a series, but there are 3 different authors of the series and the characters tend to stick to the authors (and the first book is just so-so) - Once Hunted, Twice Shy by Mandy M Roth. The town of Everlasting has many unusual inhabitants and poor Hugh is under a curse where he can't swear when he meets Penelope.

The J.A.P. Chronicles by Isabel Rose Once Hunted, Twice Shy (The Happily Everlasting Series, #2) by Mandy M. Roth

Bonus: The Grandmother in Ready to Were by Robyn Peterman

Ready to Were (Shift Happens, #1) by Robyn Peterman

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Fran,
Thank you so much for great picks! I want to read all of them but probably won't get to as many as I would like. My mom just fell and broke her hip and is now in rehab so there are lots of issues to deal with, with that situation. It is all going amazingly well, fortunately, just time-consuming.

Thanks again! Happy reading to you for this month, as well.

Sonja (sonjac) | 1364 comments Thank you TC for picking for MKat - and....

THANK YOU for also picking for me!

She PM'd me last night that she noticed I hadn't gotten my picks yet. So she sent me picks on the message and put a lot of thought and time into it! I'm so touched and humbled! Initially I'd planned to ask MountainKat if she wanted to pick for me, but I don't want to waste the amount of time and effort TC put into my picks (plus they're awesome)! THANK YOU so much!!! I will post them here shortly.

Okay we are done with picks and just waiting impatiently for Feb 1 (Spunky Old Broads Day!) to start reading! Except it's Super Bowl weekend in the States and I will be preoccupied with the game and party and with redecorating my kids' room! LOL ugh....

Friendly reminder to all our new PIFM-ers, you only "have" to read ONE book to 'complete' this challenge! Also, for extra fun, jump on over to the February Monthly Challenge which is also part of RRRC!
Happy Reading!
