Always disappointing when a popular book doesn’t live up to expectations. It’s also on my list Odette, but now I won’t be as eager to read it.......really dislike abrupt endings 🤨

I would not let what I perceive to be an unsatisfactory ending over the last few pages put you off reading the book. It was still a very enjoyable read for me and could relate to the interactions between the various family members.
