When You're Not Reading a Cozy
My review for
Small Town Nightmare by Aussie author Anna Willetthttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Finished this week: Rider in the Mist and Babe in the Woods by Caroline Burnes (AKA Carolyn Haines) — liked the first book of the series more than the first — and Make Me Love You by Johanna Lindsey, which I loved.
I just finished listening to My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry and now on my Kindle I am reading The Day the Rabbi Resigned

Reading
D-Day Girls: The Spies Who Armed the Resistance, Sabotaged the Nazis, and Helped Win World War II
For my ftf bc I read The Panther which was well written but not really my taste in books. Now I'm reading Cape May which is interesting and happens to take place in my home state.

I liked the Rabbi Small series quite a lot.
Just about to finish
Creeping Siamese and Other Stories: Collected Case Files of the Continental Op: The Later Years, Volume 1 by Dashiell Hammett
I am reading a nonfiction, Tisha: The Story of a Young Teacher in the Alaskan Wilderness which is so good. It's fact that reads like fiction and even if it was embroidered a bit it's still a wonderful book. I'm also listening to The Bookshop of Yesterdays which is also good but I figured it out way too early. I guess I'm doing pretty well with two books I'm enjoying, doesn't always happen!
Mark wrote: "My non-cozy for the week:
The Big Kahuna by Janet Evanovich and Peter Evanovich"I just started this one.
Almost done with
Surfside Sisters, by Nancy Thayer. I've loved most of her other books, but imo, this one isn't quite as good as the rest. It would still be an excellent beach read!

Just finished listening to The Love Song of Miss Queenie Hennessy which was so good. Now I'm reading The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek.
