I read The Absent One by Jussi Adler-Olsen. The book has 406 pages which is over the minimum requirement of 250 pages for this challenge. The Goodreads page indicates that the main character is Detective Carl Morck who works with Department Q a sector of the Danish police force established to solve cold cases.
This book does not have a main page genre of fantasy, science fiction, kids or children.
