Love seeing all the excitement about this mini challenge :D
Way to pull together team BoNeS!!!!!

Lol, Thanks Billy! Would be especially bad for my kindle ;)
Pizza and chocolate? Sounds like heaven no matter what day it is - I 'm guessing the guys wouldn't mind some of that action either ;)
Teddie wrote: "Shamber wrote: "I will read Mackenzie's Mountain. It doesn't look too long and I was born in Wyoming :)"Awesome Shamber!"
Hi Teddie! I'm going to change from Mackenzie's Mountain to Never Never. I believe it will still fit where Mackenzie's Mountain would have. If it doesn't please let me know! I couldn't find Mackenzie's Mountain. I updated the sheets.
Finished
today! by Neal Shusterman. If your a Shusterman fan, you have got to read this one! He's brilliant as always Next to my Valentine books!
Enjoy your day friends :)

No problem, I've adjusted on our Hand tab. Fits great, thanks for letting us know ;)
Enjoy! I love that whole series... I have 2 & 3 if your interested in borrowing them let me know! I haven't lent them out yet ;)
Teddie wrote: "Also, keep your eye out (eyes out?) for our final 5 / I card :)"Do you want me to read a 5/I book? I have one I can read after my valentine book ( which will be finished quickly),if you want?
There's some room for re-arranging too. Didn't notice how few #5's we have.We can move Stacey's Ice limit to the 5 and move a #1 over there, we have plenty of those :)

You got it "Boss Lady".... lol ! I will read The Invisible Man for a 5/I card.
Elizabeth wrote: "Teddie, I just noticed that you have Bone Gap as a #1 card. do standalone count as first in a series? That will help if I need to look for 1's in the future!"
You know, I think that book got moved, so that wasn't the right reason (should have been char: Finn O'Sullivan) - Stand Alones count against 0 cards. Thanks for catching that! :)
Trinia wrote: "Boy, do I miss Buffalo Pizzas!!!"Yeah, I think only one lonely domino location remains in the area - we are pretty spoiled by our local pizza joints. :P
Billy "D" wrote: "You got it "Boss Lady".... lol ! I will read The Invisible Man for a 5/I card."Lol - cool :)
Treavor wrote: "Finished The Valiant. It's actually a really good book and reads so fast! ★★★★ easily."That sounds really good & interesting! Thanks for posting. I might have to read this one some time. :)
Elizabeth wrote: "I am going out of town tomorrow, so don't be alarmed if you don't hear from me for a day or so! But don't worry, I will be reading :) It looks like we need more Valentine's Day "books your valentin..."have fun! Yes, looks like we don't have any for: Read a book your valentine team has read that was first published in Feb of any year. I've looked at my books and haven't found a Feb. There are also plenty of tasks in Part 2 still available :)
Finished Don't Expect Magic. It's like the title says lol. It was ok, but it was pretty much a Hallmark fluff book. I expected as much so I wasn't really let down. 3 stars.
Hey Bones Team! I've taken a few minutes to compile a list of Heathcliff books read, Published in Feb. It seems that task is a bit daunting for everyone ;) PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK PRIOR TO READING~ I'm somewhat cross eyed when looking at lists ;)So here's a start to pick from..
Louise's Read list:
Dark Lover
Honeymoon
Marrying Mr. Perfect
Poisoned Apples
The Nightingale
Ashley's Read List:
The Widow
The Bookshop on the Corner
Wintersong
After the Woods
Scripted
Paula's Read List (in Spanish~ guessing we can read in our language)
Red Queen
Scarlet
Salt to the Sea
Andrea's Read list
Playing Your "A" Game: Stay Motivated, Remain Focused and Succeed in School and Life
Cress
Anna's Read List:
Salt to the Sea
My Heart and Other Black Holes
Stars Above
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe
Thanks for doing the list Trinia! If you don't see anything there, you can also check their TBR shelves for the published in Feb books.

I THINK I can fit in Dark Lover, but I'm going to wait a few days to make sure before I add it to the spreadsheet.
Stacey wrote: "Trinia wrote: "Hey Bones Team! I've taken a few minutes to compile a list of Heathcliff books read, Published in Feb. It seems that task is a bit daunting for everyone ;) PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK PRIOR ..."Sounds good Stacey ;) Still lots of time in this mini challenge !
Red Queen is so good, I'm sure you'll love it. I'll have to take a closer look and see which ones I can do; I've already read a good portion of them in the past.
Hello, fellow Valentines Team! (Sorry, I know the greting's kinda late)Hope you find some good books on our shelves :) (I personally recommend Gaudy Night by Dorothy L. Sayers, which was pretty good and also works for a bunch of the mini challenges)
Trinia wrote: "I just got Carve the Mark audiobook on loan from the library. Grr... can't find it on any of their shelves :/ Any suggestions for easier searching?"
You're in luck!
Not sure of this'll help, but I'm most probably gonna start that real soon

Hi Gavin! Thanks for stopping by... I'll have to check out your recommendations ;D

I look forward to hearing your opinion of it ;)
Good Morning Team! I've been stalking Gavin's shelves ...lol (thanks Gavin!) and have found some more goodies...
Gavin Added in Feb:
Wonder (and Published in Feb)
Caraval
The Final Empire
Lord of the Flies
The Martian Chronicles (and read in Feb)
The Empire Strikes Back - So You Want to Be a Jedi?(and Read in Feb)
Six of Crows
Published in Feb:
The Martian
I decided to read Sacred Sins on Sophie's shelf for the mini, but after seeing Trinia's post (thanks Trinia) I've also added Lord of the Flies - I feel as though it's beyond time I've read this book.
February Hands / Cards update:At this point, if everyone reads what they've signed up for, we have all the individual cards accounted for, and only have Wild / Wild Draw 4 Cards left to fill - WAY TO GO!!
We have 11 days left for this month's reading, so if you don't think you are going to get to a book you signed up for, or want to change a book - no problem! Just post the change to the thread so we can update the FebHands sheet accordingly.
We're also doing great on the mini challenge. You probably noticed, but there is a column at the far right for the Part 2 tasks for Also Works For - go ahead and claim a task, but if you see that it may work for other tasks, please note the number(s) in this column. We can fill up to 15 of these tasks.
Awesome reading Team Bones :)
@ TeddieI updated the sheet for the Martian Chronicles. You may want to look at it. I've added a few more characters that may be of help.
Hey everyone! Hope y'all are doing well. I know I don't post here often, but I'll try to do better. :)I'll read My Heart and Other Black Holes from Anna's list.

Great Michelle - to both! :)

Thanks Billy!
Happy Weekend Bones!
I was just going through and updating dates on our spreadsheets. Please if you notice that you finished a book and we haven't changed the date on our FebHands tab , let us know.
Also, as Teddie said previously ....Please, if you had previously marked or stated that you would read a book but have since changed your mind just let us know. No one has to read a book if they don't want to. There is plenty of time ~ 10 days ~and lots of us reading if you don't think you can finish.
Keep on Dancing! and Reading :D
I'm starting
it's on Louise's Read shelf and was published in February. We have slim pickins for that area....
Thank goodness Louise has read several James Patterson books since they are very quick reads. I found 6 published in February that I can get done before the end of the Valentine's Challenge. Jackpot!
Good find Michelle! I'm right behind you ;) I've had a lot of his books on my "to-read" list for a while now. And I'm excited to find them at my online library to boot :D
Question - can we read books just for the Valentine challenge or do they have to be used for hands this month? It doesn't look like we need anything else for the hands, but I can try to read some for the challenge if it's allowed.
