Just today, I started listening to my audiobook copy of Code Name Verity and the ebook was available at the library~ Bonus! SO I'm all set to whispersync
So I get today's daily kindle deal..... Code Name Verity. I had to buy it! $1.99 .. it must be mine!!!! muahhhhahhhahhhhahhhaaaaaa! (read like evil laugh)
I definitely love the benefits of using a kindle. Mostly because of overdrive and being able to read at work on cloud reader (oops, did I just admit that?) And whisper sync is great as well. But nothing beats a physical copy of a book for me. There's just something about the feel of a book in my hand that is just right. Although, I'd ideally have every book in every available format (hard/paperback, audio, ebook).
Just finished
, excellent book. Not my favorite War book, but definitely in my top 10. I think I could use a lighter topic next.
Glad you liked it Trinia! I was really torn about it. At times I thought it was an amazing 5 star book, and others I was bored and just wanted to get it over with. Perhaps I just wasn't in the right mindset for historical fiction.

The Book Thief ; Salt to the Sea ; The Nightingale ; All the Light We Cannot See.
Found a Green 9 book ,
, so it looks like all of our color cover cards are covered (say that 10 times fast).Just in time for our last mini challenge to get started! Can y'all believe this is the last month of UNO!?!?!

No worries, we're all sort of quiet.... busy reading I guess ;D

WTG Trinia! I know - I can't believe there are only a few more weeks of Uno.
I wish I had been more chatty during this challenge. It's such a fun one, but I feel like I've hardly participated. Why doesn't my real life understand I need more time GR and reading challenges!!

Life happens ;)
Last night I finished Paris Time Capsule. For less than 300 pages it was so llloooonnnngggg and not in the good way. It had such great potential, but I was disappointed. I felt like the same conversations happened over and over and the dialog was not great. I saw 2 out of 5 stars. Anywho....on to the next book for our challenge :)

Thanks Trina! I did find out it was slightly based on a true story. Now I want to check that out! I'm about to head on a 3 hour drive, so I'm thinking I'll fill the trip with an audio book :) Happy Friday everyone!!

Hey team BONES!!!! I have been hunting for Eggs!!! Check out our spreadsheet for the April Mini Challenge! Some tasks have been listed, more to be found....
Keep checking back for a task for you! Please come by and check it out ;D

The Easter Egg Hunt Challenge is a doozy!
Because the Easter Challenge has so many specific book tasks, it will require some very intentional reading on our part - we can do it!
Please take a look at the Easter Hunt sheet on the planning doc and figure out some upcoming books that will satisfy some of the tasks.
ALSO: one of the easter eggs requires that we leave a unique Easter message on each team's thread. Would you please claim the 3-5 teams you can message on the planning doc (Trinia and I have done ours.) As you can see from our thread, many teams are making their messages unique with the use of images. (If you want to do this but aren't quite sure how, just let us know if you have questions.)

Sincerely apologize to the team. I have been MIA for too long! I'm getting on the sheet tonight to update. Schedule has it impossible to stay on here but I am reading! Happy Easter everyone! (and no I am not the Easter Bunny)
I don't know if we are really supposed to post in our own group for this, but this picture cracked me up! Hope you all are having a great Easter!!
I finished off the posts on other team threads. hopefully a belated message will suffice. Sorry for being MIA too. I hope everyone had a happy Easter. I will look at the mini challenge and pick out some books.
