I choose 1957-D No 1 by Clyfford Still, as on the picture it seems like there is a bright and friendly yellow background but something dark and inenvitable is coming near and blocking out the brightness, like death does sooner or later.
I admit it's the only of these paintings that really speak to me in a way.
