~ Winter into Spring Seasonal B.I.N.G.O. 2014 ~

Thank you, Barb, Gesa, and Kelly, for your helpful suggestions!

Duration: February 1st through April 30th, 2014

Rules: Pick a card and go for a B.I.N.G.O. Just do a row, or complete the whole card - or all three. Even try for “Anything Goes.”

Read a row across, down, or diagonally to get B.I.N.G.O.

For the letters B.I.N.G.O. across the top of all the cards, read books that work for those letters. These may be: Title; Series Name; Author’s Name (first or last); or a Character’s Name (first or last) that starts with that letter. Or go with the predominant color of that letter. (i.e. Card #1 would be deep dark green or gold bookcovers. Card #2 would be green bookcovers. Card #3 would be pink bookcovers.)

Or try Anything Goes and see if you get a B.I.N.G.O. from anything you can match. Sort of a make your own B.I.N.G.O. by seeing if you get five in a row by choosing squares from the three different cards, without moving the squares around.
Example for Anything Goes
Using the diagonal from left to right, choose the "B" then the "Canned Food " from Card #1; use the "Free Space" and "International Guitar Month" from Card #2, and last use the "Presidents’ Day" from Card #3.
Free Space, or “center square” is always Reader’s Choice.

Levels:
Heating Up = 4 - 5 books
Spring Has Sprung = 6 - 9 books
Busy Bee = 10 - 14 books
Heart Throb = 15 - 20 books
Singing with the Birds = 21 - 25 books
Dancing a Jig = 26 - 35 books
Dancing in the Rain = 36 - 50 books
Spring Fever = 51 - 60 books
Bouncy Bee = 61 - 70 books
Cabin Fever = 71 or greater

No, Ashley. They were really for the Mods' reference to make sure we mixed up the topics/holidays/items enough to have a variety of months on each card. You may read the books at any time during the challenge period.

Great that this is your first B.I.N.G.O., Amanda! Welcome to the challenge.

All the info I can find on the Internet says that Super Bowl XLVIII will be on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:25 p.m. ET on FOX, after Renée Fleming, one of the world's most renowned sopranos, sings the national anthem. It will be at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The two teams are Denver Broncos (13-3; AFC Champion) vs. Seattle Seahawks (13-3; NFC Champion).
