“Victoria summarized it with this last gem, "Look, all I know is that it’s really hard for a couple to ask for a divorce from each other when their genitals are buried in each other’s faces.”
Luke Young, Friends With Partial Benefits

“Miami hadn’t seen three straight days of drenching rain in more than a year. But as Brian waited to hold a tennis match with Jillian, with her response to his marriage proposal hanging in the balance, the rain came. It came hard. He was fine with the lack of acceptance of his proposal for the entire first day while they were joking about the match "rain delay;" by the second day he was sure she would have accepted his proposal, but she hadn’t. He didn’t really start to worry until Day Three, when neither of them mentioned the proposal or the match or any of it. Everything else was fine in the relationship—actually, it was perfect”

“Now, I still haven't actually seen her on the set and when I do there's no guarantee that I won't snap and try to strangle her." He shrugged. "Let's just call that plan B." "I'm good with that.”

Luke Young I'm so glad. Thanks for letting me know. I've heard(from some readers) they get better as you go so you should be in for a treat. I just lowered the price on books 3 and 4 so there's that as well. Have fun.

message 8: by Jamie

Jamie Wittekind Ya know, I wasn't sure how I would like these books (well book I'm only on the first one of your friends with benefits) b/c it's a romantic comedy written by a man! lol. I gotta say I absolutely love it! I guess no one can imagine how a guy really is in romance but being a male has it's adventages. Keep it up and I can't wait to read the rest.

I think sometime next year. I plan to write another prequel first telling the story of how Victoria and Jillian met.

Christine Hatfield Thanks for being my friend

Luke Young I've read almost everything he's written. Loved the firm, could not put it down. I have Calico sitting on my night table. I need to get to it. Please let me know what you think of the other books when you get there.

Sophia Thanks for 'friend'-ing me here at GR. So your saying the series gets better and better? Worthy of a five-star? ;D

I do hope so because those are books that leave me feeling miserable that their finished and stay in my mind for days. I've put the rest of your series on my wish list.

I see that you're a John Grisham fan too. I've read about half his books and looking forward to Calico Joe because I love baseball.
