Barb Maiko, how do you get the bold letters in your book titles? When I try to do that, it ends up looking like this: World W<b>i</b>thout End

Maiko Kirana Barb wrote: "Maiko, how do you get the bold letters in your book titles? When I try to do that, it ends up looking like this: World Without End"

Hi Barb,
I copied the html from the (some html is ok), located at the upper right hand of the comment box, then I copied the link of the book, pasted it on the http://www.goodreads.com part, and typed the book's title on 'my link' part.
I hope it helps..

message 410: by Barb (new)

Barb I'll have to try it, Maiko, thanks!

I had wondered that too.

Barb Maiko, I tried what I think you said, but it still didn't work. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your instructions :(

Hi Barb, English is not my mother's tongue, so probably my explanation was not quite right...
From (some html is ok) link, copy these html codes <
a
HREF= "HTTP://www.GOODREADS.com">MY LINK TEXT

and paste them into your comment box.

For example, you want to use the title of World Without End, then click the add book/author link, search for the title, and when you find it, right click at the title of the book and choose the 'copy link address', paste it and replace the "HTTP://www.GOODREADS.com" (between the "..").
Then replace 'MY LINK TEXT' by typing World Without End, using the html for bold character on any alphabet you want to make it to be bold.

I hope this works and my explanation is good enough to be understood :)
