Series Read: The Dresden Files - Jim Butcher
Re: Bob
I think my absolute favourite part so far was when (view spoiler)
He is everything Steven mentioned, and I like how he brings humour to the book which without him may feel exhausting at times. I also love that his voice on the audio book is back to that British accent James does so well ;)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
He is definitely some needed comic relief in the "what else can poor Harry suffer through"-fest that Jim Butcher is writing. As much as he goes through, I think Jim Butcher has created a masterpiece series. I am dreading being caught up, at least on the level that I'll have to wait a year in between new books hehehe!

Storm FrontThe encounter with Morgan - another brrrr moment, and I just love Bob, I laughted out loud listening to this part, when they were preparing potions *grins*
Bob never fails to make me laugh. He's such a perv, lol!Steven wrote: "what else can poor Harry suffer through" - quite a lot :0)
Storm FrontI'm in 70% and I'm really upset that Harry meets with so much injustice. It seems that people around him suspect him of worst motives instead of the best.
Still, I love this book due to the humour and irony. It is my favourite read this year so far, among other great reads :)
I finished, rated it five stars without hesitation, and now I move on to Fool Moon. Luckily, I have an audio version, I wonder if I could get addicted to Marsters's voice *grins*

If I could pay attention to any audio book, this would be the series I would do. His voice is so perfect!
I hope you enjoy Fool Moon as much as Storm Front! :D
I finished Grave Peril (book3) over the weekend, I think it was, and just picked up Summer Knight (book4)
Finally started Summer Knight with Steven. I'm not sure what chapter I am, just tygat I started 2:30 hours ago and couldn't put it down. So many AWESOME starting points that I'm enthralled :-)
I think I'll join in as soon as you all make it to
. I miss this series!Unfortunately my library only has the first four books on audio. So no James Marsters for me :(.
I finished!
Certainly the best one so far for me I think because each book is layering on the last one. (view spoiler)
I have Summer Knight ready to go["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Wooohooo Karen! The next one is soooo good that I can't stop reading it! I'm glad that the clock changes this weekend. One more hour to read:-)
I love this series. I can't wait for the next book to come out this year.
"Here's where I ask why you don't spend your time doing something safer and more boring. Like maybe administering suppositories to rabid gorillas."I love Bob!
Chapter Eight
(view spoiler)
Ok I feel better
And yes I am really enjoying this one :D["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
LOL @Karen. I felt the same.I'm trying to finish the book on my way to work, but not easy on a bumpy and jumpy bus *sigh*
Chapter Thirteen
I loved the audio during this chapter - having to do all those fairy voices! That must've been very challenging for him.

Ahhhhhhhh, OK, that makes more sense. Good point. Didn't thought of that. I guess I need too read feaster tho find out :-)
Well, I'm reaching my stop, after the bad guy is discovered and gloated while the good guy is facing death... The usual.... Gosh...I want to read more! Not going to work thinking about it *pouts*
Anima wrote: "I hear you, the same problem here LOL"It definitely is a problem, because I have three more netgalleys to review asap, and I wanted to finish a few of the series I'm in the middle of before the end of the year!!!
Yes, it is definitely difficult to stop reading Dresden, and equally difficult to coordinate other reads with this series. I also rescheduled my reads last month for the sake of Dresden and I have troubles with coming back on track!

I read the first book a few years ago but haven't gotten around to the rest. I'm going to re-read book 1 and start this series sometime in the near future. Probably 2014. I have a few other series I need to finish first.

It's the same with the Harper what's her name by Charlaine Harris, too. Curse my inability to speed read 5 books a day, LOL.
Muffin, I'm enjoying those Harper Connelly books too!!!Nicole, Netgalley.com is a website you can join and request free ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies) of books by all sorts of publishers. They send you a free copy of the book before it is published and you just read it and provide feedback (and also post your review on here or a blog, etc.)
ARCs are also known as galleys, thus the term Netgalley and the name of the site. :)

Yeah, he's really funny. I love how he's a bodiless spirit, inhabiting a skull.... chock full of lust and no way to make ..."
Bob is the best! So funny.
