Task 30.3 Take it or "leave" it

I chose Option 1 and read There's Something About Christmas by Debbie Macomber. The author's initials, DM, are found in Liquidamber.

**Debbie Macomber is a GOODREADS AUTHOR**

I also read a book with snow on the cover, for Option 4: Simply Irresistible Simply Irresistible (Lucky Harbor, #1) by Jill Shalvis by Jill Shalvis.

**Jill Shalvis is a GOODREADS AUTHOR**

Task 30.4 Elementary Art
For my Primary Color, I chose Red (reread) and read It Had to Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. This was one of the first chick-type series I ever read, and centers on a Fottball team (I love football) and I just LOVED it the first time I read it, maybe 10 years ago? It didn't hold up perfectly: I have a lower tolerance for "asshole alpha male and misunderstood seems-ditzy-but-actually-smart beauty humanize each other" stories (I think because my girls are getting older and I am more into Girl Power now, haha), but it is still cute so I gave it 5 stars for nostalgia's sake.

**Susan Elizabth Phillips is a GOODREADS AUTHOR**

My Secondary color is Green and I read Tell the Wolves I'm Home by Carol Rifka Brunt by Carol Rifka Brunt, the cover of which is green.

**Carol Rifka Brunt is a GOODREADS AUTHOR**

Task 30.6 Ancestry
I chose Option 1 and read Better Than Chocolate (Life in Icicle Falls, #1) by Sheila Roberts by Sheila Roberts. Roberts is my last name of birth.

**Sheila Roberts is a GOODREADS AUTHOR**

For Option 2 I read A Rogue by Any Other Name (The Rules of Scoundrels, #1) by Sarah MacLean by Sarah MacLean, which takes place in England. I have a lot of English ancestors.

**Sarah MacLean is a GOODREADS AUTHOR**
