This was one of the first chick-type series I ever read, and centers on a Fottball team (I love football) and I just LOVED it the first time I read it, maybe 10 years ago? It didn't hold up perfectly: I have a lower tolerance for "asshole alpha male and misunderstood seems-ditzy-but-actually-smart beauty humanize each other" stories (I think because my girls are getting older and I am more into Girl Power now, haha), but it is still cute so I gave it 5 stars for nostalgia's sake.
