Dumb question, is there any significance to all the X's? Like: Read 1 X complete Trilogy?I will probably do the first 2, not sure about the 3rd. I'm trying not to buy any books and I know I don't own any complete series. Also trying to finish up series I've already started. But if I come across a short series that my library has, I'll might.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe it just means "times", like multiplication. 1x1. 1 X Complete Trilogy means 1 complete trilogy; 2 X books with pink covers would be read 2 books with pink covers (two "times" the number of colored covers), etc.

What about doing the tasks in order. Meaning all of task 1 before doing any of task 2?
You don't have to do them in order, you can complete them in any order, and can start on another task before competing the first one you chose to do if you are doing the Medium/Hard levels. I was just hoping that people might want to join in and make this challenge 'Fit' their reading styles etc.I'm just so thrilled that so many people have decided to give it ago :)
Oh that makes it much easier. Although my upcoming reads seem to fit nicely into Task 1 so far it's nice to know I can move them around.
Question -- for the 5 different genres, can I count historical romance separate from contemporary romance?

2 questions:)1. can we backdate and make it a Jan-Dec challenge or do we have to start from 1 Jul?
2. can we do more than 1 option in each task, and still count it as multiple? for example...if I complete 3 new authors, and 3 genres(not same as new authors), and a trilogy...would I still need to do something from Task 2 and Task 3 to be "Die Hard"?

Hi Catherine,
The Time frame is One Year from the date you start. You can back date to the beginning of the month in which you start the challenge, so you can back date to July 1st.
To complete the Die Hard level, you should aim to complete all 3 tasks as set, (or one complete task for Easy Climb, or 2 complete tasks for the Middle of the Road level.)

Question -- for the 5 different genres, can I count historical romance separate from contemporary romance? Guess that applies to any sub-genres.

I agree with ilovebakedgoods(Teresa)'s question. Can we count historical romance and contemporary romance as 2 different genres, or would they both count as just 1 for romance?
