B the BookAddict (bthebookaddict) I've started The Lovers by Vendela Vida. None of my GR friends have read this. I now can't remember why I've selected this book but hopefully it'll be a good read.

It's funny how that happens. I sometimes go through my TBR list and wonder what I was thinking when I added certain books

I just picked up A Man Called Ove from the library and started it while I was waiting forever to get a coffee in one of the packed out cafés.
It's good that everyone is saying how wonderful it is because the first chapter is not inspiring. I gather I need to keep reading and its magic will grab me.

I hope it's not a case of the book being over-hyped for you Phrynne. Ove does seem like just a grumpy old man initially and does grow on you as the book goes on.
