I bit the bullet and just read that silly book until it was finished. It is rare I don't enjoy reading. Now to Miss Phryne Fisher!

So Marianne, will you ditch them or push on through the molasses...? Life is too short to persist with stories you can't make a connection with....dontcha reckon...?
am thoroughly enjoying Flying Too High by Kerry Greenwood! I usually prefer to read the book before watching the adaptation (Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries) so that I can get my own feel for the characters, but I'm pretty sure I'd imagine them almost exactly the same as the folks at the ABC.
I chose the second book in the series because it wasn't turned into an episode and therefore was a fresh mystery and even though I'm not even halfway through, I know for certain I'll be reading more in this series.
Having waded through The Zahir (review soon) and realised to my dismay I have more of this author's books in my TBR (well, will try one more and if that's a bomb, will take the rest to Vinnies) now I have rewarded myself with Libriomancer. I deserve this book!! And I am loving it!

I'm reading Amy Tan's Saving Fish from Drowning which I am loving. I have loved all of her books that I've read and this one is set in Burma, a country I was fortunate to visit a couple of years ago, which is increasing my enjoyment.
I loved it Anna:) Here's my short review if you want to look at it: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I read it a fair while ago, so I can't remember the details any more...but I do know I really loved it...
