I just read an absolutely delightful and fun novella - Ever After by Anya Wylde 5★s

I've started Labyrinth #1 called Labyrinth.

Today I will be starting The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce ( hoping I like it as much as everyone else has because I have the next one The Love Song of Miss Queenie Hennessy: A Novel on order at the library!)
I am also going to start Beyond the Dark by Angela Knight et al - a paranormal romance anthology.
An eclectic start to the year :)

I have that one to read for the Annual Challenge this year too Rosie:) Enjoy!

I started Us by David Nicholls this morning and I am half way already. It is so good! It has made me laugh out loud many times and nearly cry once or twice. It reminds me very much of The Rosie Project.

It was a Christmas present for me too. I just started reading it today.

I loved this book!

Me too. In my top 5 for 2014. Actually I've enjoyed all his books so far.
I finished Us by David Nicholls and like Marianne and Andrea I loved it!

Suzanne, I obviously liked it more than you did, although it certainly didn't go where I expected. What did your Dad think of it?

I was wondering what you thought of the end too Marianne, I wasn't expecting it either. He liked it too, but when I saw him at Christmas it had been too long since he'd read it and lost the excitement of telling me what he'd thought, and also had probably read too many since! Candice Fox was the latest author he raved about, he thought the story of her not conforming to Navy life was amusing as he was in the Navy when I was very young.

Any similarity to The Rosie Project would be great Phrynne, I haven't read any by this author, but have One Day in my pile here on holidays.

I can see where Phrynne's comment about being reminded of that while reading Us comes from, though
That's right Marianne. The main character in Us is an over achiever with poor social skills a bit like Don and his wife has a lot of the same behaviours as Rosie. The humour comes from the same place too.
I finished Fear the Darkness: A Thriller by Becky Masterman in the early hours of this morning! A chilling thriller; I couldn't put it down! My review will follow closer to publication date:)

I will be interested to see how she works Queenie's side of the story out knowing the ending of Henry's story. Won't say more ;)

Thought you would enjoy it Sally. I spent yesterday catching up on writing 3 reviews.

Yes, I thought I saw you post that, so that's a reserve worth collecting when it comes in!
She works it in very well, IMHO

I usually have 3 or 4 books on the go - I don't always remember to have them on my currently reading though :)

Next up is This House of Grief by Helen Garner - this book will fit into 3 of my reading challenges :)

I finished Dissolution by C.J. Sansom and it was a definite five star read. Oh dear - I have started ANOTHER series!

Did you like Christmas Magic Kiera?"
Christmas Magic was fun, but I expected more 'Christmas' from it. Not many Chrissy stories in there at all, unfortunately.
