Hi Jim,
Welcome aboard, It's always a pleasure to meet a fellow writer of crime fiction. :)

My name is Jennifer and I live in Minnesota. I just recently jointed Goodreads, so I'm pretty new here! I love to read, but I only just got back into it a month ago because I was always preoccupied with reading textbooks instead of books I enjoy. I'm currently reading The Girl on the Train (a little behind with the crowd, I know). Almost done with it! I can't wait to browse the other threads and see what people are reading!

I live on a horse farm outside of Toronto.
I'm really trying to find good psychological thrillers to read, as I'm fairly new to the genre. The next book I'm writing is going to be a thriller and I'd love to get more familiar with the genre.
Any suggestions? (I've only read the Girl on the Train and Luckiest Girl Alive, so far)
Hi Jennifer and Clary
welcome to the group, we have many favourites here.
Angela Marsons, Mel Sherratt, Karin Slaughter, Linda Castillo,
Will think of more psychological thrillers.

Welcome to the group. My name is Paige I live on the East Coast in VA. I like Thrillers the best but lately have not found a book that jus "grabs" me. I think it is more my mood than the books but I would love any recommendations you may have. I like Tom Clancy, Patricia Cornwall, and many more I cannot think of now. Please guys get me back onto a "page turner".
Thanks!

I'm Jim, from Lichfield in England.
I didn't learn to read until I was 9. The first thing I ever read on my own was Amazing Spiderman 3 with Dr Octopus. By the time I was thirteen I wanted to be a writer.
I started by writing non-fiction books and progressed to my one true love crime thrillers in 2015. The journey has been interesting and worthwhile if more than a little frustrating at times.
I'm useless with IT but I hope to play an active part in this community and to pick up recommendations for the many great books that I know are out there but which I've never heard of.
Cheers,
Jim
