Hello all! I'm Nicole, 40 years old, married with 2 children. I am a Colorado native. I work as a respiratory therapist at a large trauma hospital. I loved reading as a child but as I got older, I didn't put much time aside to enjoy this wonderful hobby. I begin reading again in my 30s but I admit that it takes me awhile to get through books. 2016 was a very difficult time for me. I lost my mom in August to cancer. She was 58 and my best friend. We used to trade Jodi Piccoult books with each other. I miss that! Anyways, I broke my foot three weeks ago and I've been at home on medical leave, bored out of my mind. I picked up a Stephen King book, Mr Mercedes, while Christmas shopping and that is what I am currently reading. I love detective, mystery, thriller books. My last book was the Short Drop. Great book! I look forward to finding more great books and having friends here!

I have never been a part of a reading group before and look forward to having discussions and learning of new things to read with you guys! So sorry to hear about your loss. My mom and I do the book share thing, too. I lost my Dad a few years ago and have come to realize those special connections are worth more than gold.

Hi all. I'm Sue from South Wales UK. I'm a mum to an 18 yr old daughter. Love any good thriller and true stories. My favourite authors are Martina Cole, Kathy Reichs, James Patterson and Mandasue Heller. I have read all of Martina's and Kathy's books. Currently reading Martina's new one Betrayal which I started yesterday and can't put it down. My hobbies are Crosswords, Knitting, watching TV, listening to music (wide range of genres). And reading lol. I used to do a lot of Swimming and walking but I'm now disabled with my back and several other health issues so they've had to go sadly.
My challenge this year is to get through 100 books but whether I will complete that, is a challenge.

Hi, I'm Shelley from northern Indiana. We have an urban farm, last year I put up 400 lbs of tomatoes. When I'm not doing that, I READ. Usually 4 books going at once: 1)the one I read aloud to hubby in the evenings 2)the one I'm reading myself 3)the audio book in the kitchen while I cook and 4)the audio book in the car. Favorites: John Sandford, Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, Barbara Kingsolver, Dennis Lehane, Walter Mosely, Jeffrey Deaver...gah! so many! so little time!

Hello everyone! I think I started reading around age of 5. I tend to read 2-3 books at a time and read every day. I love books because I feel like the author takes me by the hand on to a journey with them to anywhere, any time. I'm a massage therapist and live in Colorado.
Recently read and loved Small Great Things . I absolutely have become addicted to Alex Kava's Maggie O'Dell series. Oh and the Lisa's: Lisa Unger, Lisa Scottoline and Lisa Jackson.

The type of series that you read late late at night and you find yourself chewing on a corner of a pillow trying to keep from screaming and disturbing the cat, who has nestled himself into a tight helix.
Black out is very dark and spine tingling psychological thriller.
Definitely meaty.

There is honestly nothing special about me, expect for my obsession with reading and writing. Thriller recommendation has to be the Jack Reacher series, there's nothing quite like Lee Child's writing.
