Janet wrote: "You're more than welcome, M. Nice to see you around-the-clock on the different threads. :)"I love this place! I am on here more than facebook! This is really a cool club and everyone on here is super nice. I love how there is so much variety and no matter what anyone likes to read or what they are into, everyone is treated as an equal on here. It is hard to find a club that has something for everyone.
I wish I had found all of you a long time ago as I have been searching for the right club to make me happy ever since I joined GR and I have been with GR for awhile. Finally I have a place to call "Home". :)
Hi! I'm Kim, and live in Indiana, but was raised by great parents who instead of spending money on crazy things, constantly saved and as result I've been lucky enough to travel all over this country and many others (wish I could write my own travelogue). Only place I haven't been I want is Ireland. I also have been involved in genealogy since a teenager, so I read a lot of history to help.I read all kinds of books, but crime, suspense, thriller seem to be my favorite because they use my no longer skills. Seems like a great group with lots of ideas to read!
Welcome to the group, Kim. Hope you'll join in.
And M that is lovely of you to say. A comfortable, relaxed group has always been our aim. :)

Hello everyone, my name is Natalie and I currently live in north Florida. I move around every few years thanks to the military but I'm originally from Southern California. I love any kind of thriller from sci-fi to psychological. My favorite authors right now are Harlan Coben and Blake Crouch. This group seems great and through it I hope I can find more good books to read and interact with like-minded friendly people :)
Hi and welcome Natalie,

LOVE THIS GROUP...but time is limited for me, and since this is a laptop and don't have smartphone, not always able to see stuff
Off to a great start and used the wrong thread to introduce myself. I live in a suburb of Chicago with 3 ginger tabbies: Cheddar, JaeWook and Chanel. I have been a bookworm since I can remember my parents reading to me before I could do so myself. I like all kinds of genres and still get excited to go to book stores and libraries and browse for buried treasures (which is how I think of the inside of books.) I also like heavy metal, Japanese everything, Asian cinema and books, video games, and am curious about everything. I try to walk a minimum of 5 miles and read a minimum of 2 hours a day.

My favorite genres are fantasy, historical fiction, non-fiction, horror, paranormal romance, etc.
Welcome to all the new members and thank you to those that have also introduced themselves after the group message.

It's just what was playing when I posted. If I were welcoming you now, I'd give you this as your "Welcome to the Family" URL instead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zu7x_...
Natalie, hi. Please consider the URL I just posted as YOUR "Welcome to the Family" URL.
Hi, Brittany and Ariel. Please use the URL I posted earlier in this post as your "Welcome to the Family" URL since I'm gong offline in a bit to switch computers and I'm gonna be a bit lazy and not move on to the next YouTube video since this one is 16 minutes long.

After a while of being a habit, I started to find things to really like about it...getting to know all the dogs and their walkers made me look forward to my walks, then perfect strangers would stop (even in their cars) and tell me they saw me out walking when it was 5 below zero and/or incredulous that they see me in the rain, snow, heat and cold. It makes me feel that I'm a celebrity in town...lol...but the biggest thrill is that it has helped me to keep my blood sugar in control. (As for reading, I could lay on the couch and read 8+ hours each day if I didn't have to work among other chores.)
