Hello TA. What about The Balkan Trilogy and The Levant Trilogy by Olivia Manning? Collectively, these six volumes make up Fortunes of War.
Yesss -- thanks to everybody who is helping to make this list grow!Laura, I haven't read anything by Benzoni, but feel free to add #6.
(Clever idea about Proust and Hammett, but I'm not going for indvidual editions -- no matter in how few or many volumes you release A la recherche ..., it's still a seven-volume series, alas. Similar thoughts apply to Hammett.)
Which makes me think, however ... there actually seem to be more series with SEVEN individual instalments than with SIX! Curious, that ...
If I understand the rules correctly, shouldn't book six in the Marianne series be listed, instead of book #1?Marianne and the Crown of Fire

Fiona wrote: "Did I do something wrong? I thought the additional links would be of interest..."No, you didn't do anything wrong in my opinion. I for one had a look at the links, but it turned out I had already voted on them.
@Laura
Did I miss something? Apart from the Tetralogy one (and this one, of course), I haven't been able to find lists with similar subjects from either you or Themis-Athena. And you know how fond I am of voting ;-). Let me know if I missed any on this subject made by either you or Themis-Athena and I'd be happy to vote if I haven't done so already :-) Thanks Laura.

Gone is a fairly new series -- is it clear already that Light is its final entry?
