Use this thread to request books when you land on a Unpurchased Property. IF the property has been purchased, please make your request directly into the thread that the owner has set up for that property, per the list below.

Things to Remember:

1. Only 1 request per post (if you have rolled 3 times and therefore have 3 requests, then make 3 posts)

2. As you roll the dice and make requests for book choices for yourself, remember to take the time to make choices for others who have posted requests, so they can start reading

3.If there is more than one unanswered request AND the requests are from more than one player, please respond to a number of requests (not just 1). If all outstanding requests are from the same player, please only respond to one.
(ie. if there are 2 requests outstanding but both are from Bea then only respond to 1. However if the 2 requests outstanding are from separate players, say Bea and Charity, then please respond to both, if you have the time)

4. After you receive your books, if you intend to purchase the property, please list your intention here: Properties FOR SALE

It means that you can pre-roll three rolls and ask for the books for those three. I believe, though, that you still have to read them in order. Also--keep in mind that you have a time limit on reading books....7 days if you want to purchase a property and 4 weeks for others, and this is from the time the books are picked for you, so be wise in rolling ahead to avoid any penalties for not finishing the book/books on time.

Don't feel bad. I totally missed the 90 book limit, too, and I have been looking at this for a while.....BUT since your shelf can be added to/subrtacted from/changed in between dice rolls, then you can always add those books back as the others get read.

I'm excited about the enthusiasm for this game. It should be really fun. While I'm sorry to see the POTS game go away, I think this is a great replacement!

You will have 7 days after your declaration of intent to finish your book and post a short review.

Purchasing is on a first come, first served basis, therefore properties will not be available (frozen) during the time the intended purchaser is reading their book.

After you have completed the book and are confirmed as the property owner, Please set up your own request thread for that property so that others may make their requests to you directly.

Please remember: Only 2 Properties can be owned by any one player
