D.G. | 1370 comments The Feast of the Goat by Mario Vargas Llosa - This is set in the DR and based on Dominican history so I'm happy I can recommend it to you!
The End of All Things (Old Man's War, #6) by John Scalzi - I've read the first in this series and I really want to continue.
The Shadowed Sun (Dreamblood, #2) by N.K. Jemisin - I have many books from this author on my TBR, she comes so well recommended by friends.
