That's ok Lahni, I actually requested a new book before I had finished because it's such a busy time of the year and I knew I was relying on one person. As I have just read The Thirteenth Tale (it was chosen for me as my second read) I will read People of the Book. I enjoyed Year of Wonders so hopefully I will enjoy this book as much. Nice, I like how you went for a theme. I have decided to go for The Girl Who Played With Fire. The reason is I read the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo fairly recently and it is still fresh(ish) in my mind. Also my wife is currently reading our copy of Fahrenheit 451.

Lahni, I think I will go for Magic Study as it is the shortest book chosen and will go toward this month's shelf as well. I also have it down for Moving Mountains, so it will help with a couple of challenges.

I have finished Major Pettigrew's Last Stand which I enjoyed except for the negative light in which it portrayed knitting. It had a nice gentle humour which I liked.
