Book nominations are limited to one a month per member. All nominations that are received are added to the poll. If there is a tie of 2 books at first place, we read both (optional - you can read both, one, or neither!). If there is a tie of more than 2 books, we will do a sudden death poll between all of the tied books. No self promotions please. Discussion encouraged - a lot of thriller readers will have read the monthly choices already, which is a great opportunity to share your thoughts as new readers make their way through!

[close] The Sunday Book Club is a new addition to the vibrant diverse community of Los Angeles, to meet other like-minded women of all age groups, who enjoy reading, authentically connect, discuss stories and share a laugh. I started this book club to build a supportive positive fun-loving community of women who create traditions. We read a variety of genres such as drama, thriller, romance, sci-fi, and autobiographies. I pick titles for at least 3 months at a time. We spend the meeting discussing the book and other topics that might come up (such as personal stories and experiences that relate to the story). Come join us and enjoy a morning of heartfelt discussions on good books over coffee. Whether you’ve read every page, skimmed a chapter, or simply want a relaxing break, you are welcome here.
