45 New YA Mysteries and Thrillers You Won't Be Able to Put Down

Posted by Sharon on April 5, 2021

If you're a fan of the mystery and thriller genre and young adult books, recent months have brought a bevy of great reads to your shelves! We suspect that Courtney Summer's 2018 hit Sadie kicked off an entire trend of YA whodunits that is showing no signs of slowing down.

To help you on the hunt for your next heart-pounding read, here's a list of criminally good reads published since January 2020. We've got deadly high school cliques, creepy stalkers, revenge plots, a Jane Austen rewrite, and more!

All of these books are highly rated (on average, 3.5 stars and above) by your fellow readers and are available in the U.S. now.
