Good story. Narrator made the characters all seem like weak females.

Really loving the story. But this narrator keeps mispronouncing pretty basic words that can't just be put down to regional dialect.

I know why I like Frieman's books.

She writes in a way that recaptures the fantasy fascination I had when I first started reading as a young teen. She doesn't write at a YA level, but she somehow makes me feel that wonder again.

I've lost the thread of the story a couple times. This book does not lend itself well to wandering attention.

This storytelling style just seems magical. Like I'm listening to a campfire fairytale.

Really enjoying everything. The characters, story, the crazy grafting, the narrator. Very rare I like all aspects of a book like this.

It's been a few years since I finished the 1st book in the series but I forgot how much I really enjoy a Molly's writing style.

So why is this so highly rated?

It's just a bland story about families and hockey.

this isn't a worthy sequel to the amazing first book.

Salome pronounced as Sal-OH-mee.
Cephalopod pronounced as kef-ah-la-pud.
Amoeba pronounced as uh-mee-bee.

This narrator's pronunciation of Salome is so dumb. Salome does not rhyme with bologna!

It's been years since i read Children of Time. I recall LOVING the book. I was reluctant to start this book, but now i remember why i liked the 1st so much.

Oh wow all of the references to other gay literature! I love finding those little easter eggs.

The bridge of time between James Baldwin and Lil Nas X is really fascinated one for openly gay black artist.

This is an unfilmable book.

This author really knows how to grab your attention from page 1! This is only my 2nd Baldwin book, and I'm so happy to have found this author.

Does this author know he's writing about an MMORPG anymore?

This author has completely abandoned the idea that they are in MMORPG environment. I seen this in other litRPG books my theory is that these are the people that never played MMORPG and only played tabletop games.

Can't some of these LitRPG authors write a story without a million plotholes? This is probably my last book in this genre.

Is it suicide? Is the stone man a metaphor for suicide?

Ok! This is starting out pretty good. I really enjoy this author's writing style.

I really tried to stick out this book. It's so insanely boring.

My theory on the awards is that the world is hungry to read eastern fantasy. But damn. This book is not entertaining, and it doesn't even have great prose.

I guess a main character juts died. And i think it was supposed to be emotionally impactful. I just don't care.
