I really enjoy this author's accessible writing style.

I don't read many mystery books, so it's really fun to mentally identify each suspects hidden motives! I might need to read more in this genre.

So this is a bit of a masterpiece story. A magicked rogue. An incredibly rich universe. I might becoming a fan of Mr. Buehlman.. need to read more from him.

Only tiny thing is that I wish there were some scenes that slowed down a bit, and let me absorb the setting and the magic system and let me think a bit. This book is very fast paced, which is great! But the rich universe is begging to be explored a bit.

I'm so impressed by the audiobook. If this doesn't make a year end best-of list, "they're worth cunny all!"

Excited to start this book. You can really tell the author uses his gift from "christoph the insulter" in this book. There's a metric ton of hilarious insults, just in the first 2 chapters.

The premise goes mostly unexplained and it's a weird one. I'm not really liking the story so far but it's unique so I'll continue and the narrators are great.

Is this a true story? An Autobiography??

The witty puny asides are really weird, and quite witty. This book makes me feel weird. I despise it, but it's masterfully written.

This writing style is so passive. The author missed so many opportunities to 'show not tell'... So so so many pages of poorly written interactions. Jeez, what a waste of time. The story did seem interesting though! I'm sure it's not easy, but hope the author will work on his style a bit for next book.

I don't know. On one hand, it's well written rogue fantasy with a gay lead. I should love it. But on the other hand, I'm not really that into this plot. I'm trying to like it.

This would make an amazing Netflix show.

I'm so intrigued by the time-travel, the combat, and the groundhog day mysterious beginning! But there's quite a bit text devoted to character personalities and sex and intermingling...

Like why setup this amazing premise just to spend pages describing thrusting?

Eh a little boring.

Well, I like how fast the subjects come at me in this book.

There's no downtime, which is good because it would feel like a textbook otherwise.

I just can't stand what these narrators are doing to this book mostly the female one. They've changed a lot of the pronunciations of the krasian language from the previous narrator and and they're englishizing them it's just terrible

If I hear the female narrator mispronounce 'ichor' and do that dumb "PPSSSTT" thing in my ear again, I'm going to throw my phone. It's so frustratingly clear this woman doesn't really care about telling this story. Sad.

This female narrator is so terrible. The male narrator is perfect for the role.

The female keeps mispronouncing easy words and has a truly amateur vibe with things with her grating, terrible "psssst!!!!"

Oh this narrator isn't as good as the Warded Man series.

I missed this universe! So happy.
