This book feels like it got so surreal that it lost something. Like the author was trying to accomplish something poetic or intellectual, but fell a little short... almost like some parts of this book were written on amphetamines.

Not enjoying it as much as the first book. I think it's more heady and surreal. I'm having trouble keeping up. Also, this book is clearly written by an intellectual... and i feel like I'm missing some key points that I probably should be picking up on.

Got to the "his face was a...." chapter... Wow. This author was really into it. I'm curious if Nyquist is a character of the author. There seems to be something autobiographical in the text.

I really like this author's prose. Is very accessible and very engaging.

So there really is no magic involved it's just a Butler watching over a house and a old guy. Drab.

I absolutely love parts of this book. I wish it weren't so long.

This will be a hard book to review. There are aspects that are so perfectly suited for my reading preferences (scifi, mm, interesting new concepts, plenty dialog, religious fervor criticism). The story drags in places though.

Benzo is aptly named. Making Kenna high and heady with his presence.

This production is maybe the best audiobook I've heard. I'm so happy that Sandman, a pivotal series for my teenage self got this treatment.
