UGH. This narrator keeps mispronouncing the word Magus.

Oh this narrator is quite green. Very amateur. Nice voice, but I bet this is like his 1st audiobook.

This is a rich universe... good world-building by the author!

This is starting out so good.

I made it 85% and DNF'd. This book is so fucking boring. I literally made it to the end, and i don't care one bit what happens.

So at this point, i'm wondering what this author is trying to write, because it's definitely NOT a fun scifi space opera.

Pretty bored with this story. I'm open to thinking it's just me.. but usually i like these types of stories.

OK how do you turn an exciting cyphi setup into a boring beurocratic book.

It's still interesting but the writing style and plot are a little sleepy.

A good story with good pacing some of the language is unknown which is weird.

So, this isn't CP's best book. He set a high bar though.

I'm not terribly invested in this plot, although it is grossly unique, like all his books.

This book would be what you'd get if a Stephen King book were genuinely frightening.

I think im picking up the thread of the story again.

There's quite a lot of detailed tangents.

I started part 2 and am now confused as the direction of the story. Someone wants to kill him but why?

The writing is dense and greatlybdetailed still.

The way this story unfolds from the inside of a dark guild. It's so cool.
