Omg can’t believe how much I had forgotten!!!! Like obviously knew the plot & characters as this is a re-read, but still the small bits and pieces especially now seeing them after reading all the novels plus the films!!!!! Awwww love the world of HP!!!!

Breezed though some fluff pieces, but main premise & characters are keeping me entertained with this story so far!

Re-reading/re-listening!!!! Ahhhhh...some books never get old!!!! Hufflepuff!! 😂😍

Awww very heartfelt & great insights!!!! At first was iffy about the beginning jumble, but so glad stuck with it as I absolutely love these characters & storyline!!!!!!

Omg how could her father be so heartless...he is not sure if he can look at his own daughter with affection again! Wtf instead of your reputation & social status I know this is a modern injustice he needs to be worried he left his only daughter no way out, but this way! On that note very excited to see the budding romance with her & our Earl!

Omg I’m in love with this premise!!!!! Can’t wait to read this story sounds so promising!!!!!

It’s a good book! It was fun & lighthearted at first now more angst, but still okay I’m skimming over some paragraphs now of fluff details. Love the guardian ward trope still a classic romance storyline!!!! True love prevails etc 😂🤩

Eeeekkkss!!!! Love love love this novel!!! Bravo Julia London! She has crafted a great storyline as well as engaging & fleshed out characters in our hero/heroine! Very detailed even the minor characters give credit as well to the development of this overall arc to the main plot!

HOLD UP...dragons don’t have wings?! I get creative license & all, but seriously dragons with no wings OMG 😮 it’s like a ripe off in my opinion!!!! As foreign as of fairies had no wings either...some things simply aren’t right!!!! Lol that said will be interesting to see how the rest of this 800+ novel goes & I’m at the very beginning!!!!

OMG.....so first off love the author! The beginning is engaging UNTIL now where it was stated...”Most dragons are wingless and flew by means of an organ on their heads, which scholars named the crown.”

Not exactly the story I thought or expected from the synopsis.

Love it so far! Granted we just got to our main characters “clearing the air” conversation all dressed in their finery to have them interpreted with news of a child missing! I’m sad for the child really I am, but really author right at that exact moment ugh typical ploy to keep them reeling from each other!!

This should not come as a surprise, but still amazed that all these women are not well known! If they are it is by select few & one has to actively research them to be aware of them!

Lol just thinking to myself over 800 pages expect some time to get into the real essence of the story! So far so good though descriptive, but not overly do!

Honestly it’s been over a month probably even more since last picked this up, but was okay novel! That said can’t remember anything about it so it’s not that memorable of a story or characters that are engaging!!!!

Currently listening to it on my commute to work! Not bad for a self help book. At least the author comes right & says this is s self help book, but instead of me drowning on & on like most others it’s actually pretty engaging with her humour & informative wisdom 😂🤩

Now that I have switched to reading itself vs audiobook I love this novel!!!! It is very traditional in the sense no ‘ripped bodices’ or anything else that can be found in other romance novels written about this period of time! Like Jane Austen or Georgette Heyer!!! Love the attention to detail & storyline!

I wanted it noted that I tried the audiobook of this first it was awful! Sadly it is a skill in itself to do voice over with any success in convincing the listener of being transported to this novels world! Was lacking in all aspects sadly her voice was just grating on my nerves did not bring the story alive whatsoever sadly!

It’s okay! Looking forward to the sisters POV novel as it features one of my all time fav voice overs already purchased that audiobook!!!!! Excited Ms Lee is amazingly gifted storyteller makes the novels come alive truly adds another level of magic or helps boast up the lacklustre plot if that’s the case!

Once I put aside the direct references from other novels even the contemporaries which is very distracting as this is suppose to be a regency era lol not modern day. Definitely not original, but I do like this whimsical novel.
