I have to admit that this villain takes the award for most pompous arse! I’m wanting to dive into these scenes and just throttle this guy!He is only a fictional character lol so score one for the author to incite this type of response too bad it’s for the most hated character in this novel!The leading protagonist are good, but seem meek&lacking this sort of passion that a relatively minor character(s)are stirring up!

Finally getting back around to starting this as it has been on my “reading” list far too long & that simply is a tragedy in itself as this contains one of my favourite storylines lol

Love this author & the witty dialogue as well as characters here promising start!!!! 🎉🤩😍

A plot twist I did not see coming interesting lol norm one can predict who the “bad” one is, but this was an interesting development! I like that it threw me for a loop so not just mindlessly reading along, but the author is actually making sure one is fully engaged is a great tool for any writer to achieve!!!! Love this novel more & more!!!! :)

OMG!!!! I’m loving this novel already!!!! So fun & fresh with witty dialogue!!!! Captivating characters right off the bat is hard task, but this author has achieved this brilliantly!!!!!!

OMG!!!! I maxed out my renewals & I’m so close to finishing!!!!! Hahahahaha ironic much now I’m actually getting into the story had to return & pay week worth of fines on it! Though not as enamoured enough to pay for instant kindle book access though! Will just rent it out again next week I’m on campus!!!!

Fun read!!!! Saw this & at first anything sounded more promising than yard work, but I’m actually enjoying this novel!!!! Love the witty dialogue & powerhouse of our leading characters!!!! Female empowerment in an era it was unheard of heck yeahhhhhh girl power!!!!

OMG I’m loving this novel!!!! Especially given what time it is & the fact I should be asleep says lots!!!!! Love how can visualise myself right there with the characters & agreeing or disagreeing with them on their paths in the book!!!! Fresh, easy fun read!!!!!

On disc 6! Good story! Granted not one that has instantly hooked me in so I can wait to drive to school twice a week to listen to this instead of having to room around town just to play this!

OMG OMG this is a riot!!!!! Love it!!!! The chance to go inside the fabled halls & doorways of the most exclusive clubs in all of England!!!!! A lady dressed in male clothing seeing first hand what the hype is all about lol love this if can’t beat them join them she is determined to get a good match as well as living situation for her friend/sister!! Heck yeahhhhhh!!!! Witty & endearing storyline!

Disc 3 getting more into it now!

Love the spunk & go get it attitude! Nothing knocks her down has that cheery yet assertive persona!! She was determined to survive & the children of her employment helped her more than most prob would do given the time era, but they had an unconventional upbringing in the north themselves! Mainly it’s great to see a well written story that one can become immersed within!

Love this!!!! Especially considering what time it is & I have to be up early for work!
Governess & Lords the highly witty game of cat & mouse! Loved the characters so far very well developed!!!

Starting disc one! I honestly listening to this as one of the many fb quizzes that I take normally are silly, but when this one was the choice of what YA world would fit best for me was intrigued because never heard of it before & thought why not give it a try! 😂😍

Lovin this fast paced action/romance/suspense novel! What’s even better is that it’s set in 1800s England & the leading lady is a bluestocking heck yeahhhhhh especially in that era way to go having a kickass heroine who knows her faults & uses her own wits about her!!!!!

Relaxing bath, glass on wine & a fun romantic novel to end a crazy Monday night! :)

Last disc!!!!! Eeeekkkssss!!!! This novel has brought up so many great points!!!!! Shocking how much our memories are tied in with our moods & perspectives!! Yet the government thinks to just erase them will solve the epidemic! Our hearts/bodies remember far more than one ever knew!!!! Can’t wait to see the end!

Had to return this to the library (reached the renewed limits)! Not taking it off the list just yet though giving this one a second shot before I place it on the DNF list!

OMG I am staying awake to know what happens regardless of fact have to be for work in less than 5 hours!! So Realm/Michael was/is working for the program wtf buddy!! I have to give probs here to the author because I feel for these characters still think Realm means well in this attempt to fight fire from within & truly cares for Sloane! Not to even mention the no memories thing & James how that will unfolded!

I have to state this & see if I am correct later on...Realm/Michael is like an undercover agent working for the Program from the patient side?! Or maybe he has this connection with the leaders of the program that’s why he can get contraband chicken nuggets in for Sloane! Awww I’m so glad she has some to help her just hope Realm is not working for the bad people if so he is like Robin Hood lol

OMG OMG!!!!! Roger is a perv!!!!! Grrrrr what price for your memories that is cruel of Roger & for what?! The program will destroy all memories & without the context what could would they be anyways without knowledge of what/who they represent!!!!!

So it’s a very intense topic! I like the romance build between Sloane & James! This world though is scary how realistic it is! This could actually happen like far off, but not that far off that it’s not an impossible idea! Freaky concept really!!

Starting new audiobook with my commute to/from work!!! Has very tense subject matter, but think it will be good novel set up like Delirium maybe can’t wait to find out!!

I can’t get into this book! I’m sorry it is way to silly droning on! I think if I was still really little this might appeal to me more! Oh maybe since it’s audiobook the speakers voice combined with the silly storyline is what seems off & reading silently it might not seem as foolish not sure if will continue with this or put in if my DNF list!

Now this book is getting into the characters & the rebellion! I love how our heroine is a badass fighter, but also has this sense of humanity! Why is she letting her brother use her as his own personal revenge just because her current gift is of darkness does not mean she has to be utilised as such! Nature vs nurture is a prime example here!

On disc 3 like this book! Think will need to keep listening to get to like the meat of the story giving us the backstory & allowing us time to get to know the characters in this story before anything actually happens!

Pemberley is the security firms name that is clever placing the classic names in modern context!!!!!! Though all it’s faults towards ending being rushed I felt like it was a great nod to the classic!!

Eeeekkkssss so my predictions were right!!!!! Lovin this remake as it keeps you engaged regardless of knowing the classic storyline!!!!

Love trying to figure out who all the characters will end up becoming according to the classic!!

I think this Tanner guy is Mr. Darcy with his step brother Ryan as Mr. Bingley & this Drew guy might be Mr. Wickham! Mary can be Charlotte Lucas as they have already mentioned an attraction between Ryan & Mary! Of course our leading lady Berry is our miss Elizabeth Bennet!!!!!!! 🎉🤩😂😍
