So far I’m liking this! A little slow paced at times already, but still interesting enough to want to continue & not the dreaded info dump like some other novels/authors tend towards! More lyrical than others I have read, but still enjoyable nonetheless so far!! A Cinderella meets Snow White & the huntsman vibes 🤩😍👏

Heck yeahhhhh!!!! Strong willed FMC!!!! She legit gives as good as she gets no docile female here!!!! I get our MMC struggle with his lesser punishments he is trying to save her from worse consequences, but being a source for the royal legacy it’s a double edged sword kinda thing eeekkksss!!!!!

Promising start!! Love the narrators already adding extra depth to this obviously character driven story!!!!

So far liking this!!!! Easy fluffy beach read type great contrast to some of my other darker themed characters lol

Okay there was a big jump from when she was 11 to being a senior in high school without any mention of time in between & was already invested in this so that’s bugging me, but still listening to it as the whole premise sounds promising!!!!

Sadly reality got in the way, but still lovin this & excited to get back into this world!!!!

I’m hooked now!!!! Loving the slow burn it is so well crafted!!!! The entire world building is so well fleshed out!!!! These characters are not just wooden 2D on paper!!!! I’m right there with them in this scene —this is how to write a proper story we engage not just be told as a reader what is happening or what the author says!!!!

Lovin it!!!!!! All tropes of YA dystopian romance fantasy!!!!!! Great banter between our main characters & strong badass FMC & morally grey MMC!!!! Eeekkksss these narrators in this audiobook also on point!!!!

Omgggggg loving this!!!! Definitely more spice in some chapters, but living for all the Twilight references!!!!

Want more Wilder Hawthorne content, but the little glimpse of his POV is a great treat!! He is a grumpy prickly bear, but when we get his POV eeeekkkssss he is very possessive of her despite being outwardly so cold to her & others!!!!

It is definitely slow burn, but still good! A bit predictable, but still liking this book!!

First official audiobook of 2025 let’s hope it’s a good one lol :)
