Eeekkksss!!! My man Hawke!!! So lots of questions about his unparalleled vision & tracking skills, but he is swoon worthy still!!! Love all the witty banter between our leading characters! Poppy can kick butt literally & figuratively!! They are a great match can’t wait too see what happens next hopefully it’s as promising as it’s is now 🥰🥰🥰🎉🤣🤪🤩😍

Sadly Rylan didn’t make it, but Poppy got away safely glad Vikter taught her to fight & use a dagger!

Not Ryan!!!!! Finally got back to this novel & really into it & her poor guard they were hanging out in the garden their one “safe” place in the castle! I really hope he is okay as well as Poppy!!

Slowly making some progress on this audiobook when I need a distraction at work, but don’t have to give it my full attention!

Love how she didn’t just sulk in jail! She problem solved & broke herself out of jail!!!! No damsel in distress for this main heroine!!!

Lol so finally getting to be able to read this book! Excited to be back in the land of YA supernatural sci-fi etc 🤪😂🤩😍

Ahhh love the main characters & the chemistry between them! Omg love this bad boy with great heart trope the best 🤪🤣🤩😍 he can wait until she becomes legal, but just barely 🤣true love

Love this full cast set up—getting spoiled on that alone plus the narrators are brilliant!!! It makes the storyline that much more engaging with a full cast! It’s a first to have singing & musical notes to signify chapters as well!!!

If only could find myself a brooding protective mate!!!! 🤪🤣🤩😍

Omg omg!!!!! I’m hooked already on this novel!!!! Very reminiscent of Twilight— Jacob part that is lol shapeshifters with Edward’s protectiveness & brooding love eeeekkkkssss 🤪🤣🤩😍

So that’s that I guess…quite the let down oh well! At least Jacob & Prim had a HEA!

WTF!!!! Her mother is a piece of work Omfg!!!!! “You gone will make life so much easier…” can’t believe she would even say that to anyone let alone her OWN DAUGHTER seriously that’s some messed up crap!!!!! Any era this is messed up, but especially back than when freedom for a women is soooooo incredibly hard with society norms economic pressure just sad really this novel is quite the juxtaposition!

I’m glad they left they appalling tent! Plus neither Jacob nor Prim approve of this cruelty that would of been an immediate straight to DNF shelf!

They BLIND the poor bears & use whip’s & ropes have them trapped like OMFG!!!! Especially for being a YA themed regency novel like this might of actually been the practice in that era, but don’t go into detail in this book a YA book no less ughhhh so much for my night off to enjoy a clean sweet regency romance!

Love this era-love this author…at the part with bear baiting Noooo it’s so cruel like whyyyyyyy idk if enemy can finish this now 🤦🏻‍♀️😩

Omg this story entranced me from the beginning!! Love the humour/witty dialogue/world building that is finely crafted not just a bunch of info dump!

OMG!!!! Whatttttttt cray cray didn’t see this twist coming—the scholar is the villain afterall!!!!! Let’s hope Isoka can defeat him!!!!! She has really grown on me! Her character has gone through so much & really feel like she has changed/evolved/grew etc since first meeting/reading about her! Plus awwww her developing relationship with Maroe & of course Hagen! Plus Jack love her seriously best comic relief!!

Really getting into this story now! It’s pretty good!

Such strong promise —premise sounded amazing!! What I am reading has not grabbed my attention sadly so far! Let’s hope it picks up! Everything is there technically writing just lacking creativity! Feels so stiff in the words they do not flow as easily as some stories can hook the reader in mere sentences into the novel!!!!

Eeekkss!! Okay this story has me officially hooked now! Glad she seen what a tool Alister really was & verdict still out on her brother murderous or not! Prob just mega overprotective of her! Each characters has some faults, but makes them more relatable lol

Lol so far it’s okay not immediately Hooke my attention, but the plot & era has promise!!

Ahh our leading heroine is a badass with a soft side! Love it!!She saves Moria countless times now & M even saved her life now twist I didn’t see coming—awesomeness!!Even with the fact she could leave pack 9 she won’t abandon M especially or the others by association on her rise to the top & definitely away from the so called Butcher!!Definitely liking the descriptive characters /new vocabulary/world building!

Yep….skipped 2/3 of this novel —right to the end! I’m not feeling these characters! Sadly I have no connection with them! The plot is barely hanging by a thin thread as well I think! Lol just wanna know what happens to her sister! No spark between the main characters, but still wish for a HEA! Would I recommend this dull novel to anyone? No, simply in fact alone I did not grab my attention!

Never a good sign when already skimming/speed reading a book one just started! Not a promising start let’s hope it gets more interesting/engaging otherwise will chalk it up to DNF as don’t have the time/effort etc with my endless TBR list 🤣

Omg!!!! Love how adept at describing everything without it seeming like massive info dump! That alone shows a skill in a writer!!! Love all the analogies & witty dialogue! The narrator does a great job bringing this vivid world to life!!!!

He asked one thing in return, and you went berserk.” YESSS finally they call her out in her petulant ways! Love our main heroine just very childish at times, but lol can so relate though!!
