4 - they tell Ray. He’s the cool logical one and wants me boy the 3 of them to escape. But Emma says she won’t give on this... and Norman backs her... while he was thinking of dying she was thinking of her family dying... that is really incredible. 3 - their mom is suspicious of them and has been checking all the kids for cracks in their demeanors... Emma wasn’t as happy this morning and mourns Conny... when the woman sees her looking pensive she checks her pulse but Emma’s able to brighten. Her and Norman though have paled around... we learn their mom has a number too! She wants to survive.

2 - Norman and Emma are the ones who went and they do the research about their home, quickly realizing its a cage. They find a wall that they’ll need rope to climb... they can escape (they are next after all) but they want to take the little kids too. Doesn’t seem they told Ray yet... but they left the bunny so their “mom” has just declared war on them. Blessedly they learned she can track them with her watch.

“Miss Vice-Storyteller.” Did actually differentiate herself enough that Faurok defended her! The story of the Doll was not that compelling but he likes Ophelia... Thorn wants them to be in the same page but him trying to make an appointment with her just pissed her off.

Hmmm the Prince seems to have a point about his brother... the plot obviously sacrificed the girl sent to do the job. Finn is a bit of a stereotype... I hope she comes into her own more.

116 - it’s Yui’s birthday on Christmas so he insists on having a surprise birthday party.. they were going to do it in the boys dorm but Mafuyu couldn’t go too. So they have it at her apt where Hayasaka finds a scarf he gave to superbun. Can he make the connection now that his memories of his mom are cleared up?!

115 - Aki sees Saeki visiting Momochi and wonders if she has her hooks in him... so he follows and listens in Kamari’s room so funny - he learns that Saeki goes everyday to tell her what she needs to hear and make her cry. Awww

114 - this is crazy chapter about how mixed up the pigeon the pen pals use gets... the letters aren’t getting to the right people... so the pigeon decides to fake a drowning... this time though Hayasaka saves it and for some reason all is fixed?! Or is it?! Haha it was funny...

113 - we get Momochi was abused by her mom... she thought Hayasaka was worse off than her so she played with him... but then he forgot her when all the stuff at his mom’s death happened. Miserable she loves to take away people’s happiness. Hayasaka tells her he was happy the time they spent together young. She made a secret bet with Miyabi!

112 - they head back to school but Saeki pointed out they still don’t know why the memories were gone... Hayasaka has an idea so they pretend his memories are still gone... Momochi falls for it and H confronts her about a little girl with bruises...

After she died Hayasaka couldn’t handle her death so they made his delusions reality. They pretended there had been a first wife and that the girls were his biological daughters and not adopted. Yui figured out the truth from the photo albums. Who was the girl in the garden though who told him not to trust anyone in the house?!

111 - wow! We including Hayasaka finally get the truth about his twisted him life... we’ve been led to believe he’s the illegitimate son of a wealthy guy... but his mother assumed she was a mistress because of his two daughters he adopted from his older sister! She totally misunderstood but died before she could clarify things with her son who she dressed as a girl for a while to protect him.

Loved the mountain climb and the courting. Sex but tasteful. The Vachir came after them with soldiers. His magic is fading... the carpet went out of control.

The temple of the sun was a little uneventful since it happened exactly as Edan said... I loved the people they met in the road who knew she was a girl and assumed wife. That brother will turn them in... hopefully they’ll get far enough away. He’s clearly fading so he tells her the truth ... that he’s bound. Neat!

but looking at Mafuyu’s phone he realized they really were friends... then he saw that pic of the 3 of them... it broke thru and he ran and tumbled down the hill but his memory returned! M cried she was so happy to hear her name from Hayasaka! His dad explained to Saeki after he confronted him. Poor H! Loved this volume!

110 - whoa... I didn’t see that coming... his poor mom has s dead... he couldn’t handle it when she died so blocked her death from his memories. When Momochi suppressed his year at school she linked them to his mom so he wouldn’t want them back...

109 - Yui decides to break into H’s mom’s room... H and M find him on the floor of the hallway sleeping. In the morning he says he was knocked out... there was blood and Saeki realized it was H’s father! He confronts him... H checks a phone and it has 18 messages. He’s really struggling to believe these two are his friends but he’s all they worry about!

108 - Saeki talks to Hayasaka’s dad who is eerily calm until S mentions H’s memory problems. Then he goes berserk and even badly cuts his hand saying not again... he only calms because S says H hit his head though we know that has nothing to do with it. Yui meanwhile meets H’s half sisters who seem glad to know he has a BFF. Mafuyu tells H about their friendship.

107 - they meet Hayasaka who has devolved to how he was in middle school. The staff don’t seem to realize he’s different. They do learn about his mother the mistress who was dragged back there after the man’s wife died. We learn Hayasaka’s first name is... Kaori!

106 - they all wait for Hayasaka to be back from suspension but he doesn’t come back... Saeki and Bancho link his trouble to Momochi who seems to have done this to others in the past until the student council president got involved. So Saeki and Yui all dolled up as honest and respectable are going for a home visit!! Turns out he’s illegitimate and his name is kept hidden.

105 - Hayasaka is deteriorating fast. Mafuyu and Yui have noticed big time. He’s wandering around town and gets into a fight that is going to get him suspended. Good memories and seemingly planted ones are crossing. Miyabi is obviously the better guy than Momochi. She says he is the weakest in the group and she’s sending him running from Mafuyu.

Ten goes home for the break and all she thinks about is Riku!! She realizes she likes him... as expected but I don’t have to like it... the nice guy always comes in last 😣 I wish Riku would get some depth at least!
