Who doesn't love a good cult story?

I fell down a rabbit hole googling facts from this book.

I lost my place in my last book because windows is the worst so obvs it makes sense to just read another one until my computer unexpectically restarts.

Three people recommended this book to me. So far I really like it, but it doesn't strike me as a good book for beginners despite being an "introduction." I definitely needed these last few weeks of javascript training as a primer. Hopefully this book can help me become a more concise programmer without going over my head.

lol, I can't. This book explains CSS in like three paragraphs and is like, "If you don't understand CSS, there are other good books for that." And I'm like YES, GOOD. Because I don't need this book to teach me CSS, BUT THEN the book goes on to explain how to use a mouse. There's a whole paragraph on how to click on something. I'm dying. You didn't want to waste time on CSS but you're explaining how to use a computer?

I wasted two hours of my life because the kindle inserts extra spaces in code when copy and pasted that will RUIN EVERYTHING.

omg, the very first sample php code in this book doesn't work. And I spent like two hours trying to figure out why my local server wasn't working and it was the effing code. And it's not in the errata, and I don't know php, so I don't understand the problem.

The internet is my bitch!

Alright fine. I'll keep reading.
