Again, I'm starting to ask myself why this book is as long as it is.

My favorite parts of this book are when he talks smack on the APA.

This is one of those books that makes me feel like I don't know what words mean.

Uuuuuuugh, don't reference the daily mail! It. Is. A. Tabloid! I'm tired of screaming this from the rooftops. Find a source that isn't garbage if the information is legit.

lol, wow. This is the first audiobook I've ever listened to with a threat about jail time for unauthorized distribution. Spicy start.

This book lacks professional decorum and slips into petty statements pretty regularly. Like, yeah Trump is contemptible but all the jabs weaken the points being made.

I totally thought this was going to be nonfiction because I wasn't paying attention.

Goodreads is being flooded with fake reviews and it's driving me nuts. Seriously, how is nearly every book over 4 stars? Remember when 4.35 used to be as high as a book ever got?

I also noticed there are library programs forcing their students to write reviews for classes and how honest can a review be that's being compelled for a grade? I want to yell at all those teachers for bringing that mess here.

Who do you think the author is? Mike Pence? Rex Tillerson? John Bolton?

Seriously though, what even is this book.

omg, this book is answering so many questions I've been asking myself over the last 20 years.

One of my least favorite things is the "these people who clearly love each other are fighting over some mysterious thing, wait until page 200 to find out what" trope.

It needs to die. I don't want to be in the dark about things that everyone but me knows!

Dear every author everywhere: don't wait until deep into your book to describe what a character looks like. What the hell.

Oh good, characters acting stupid for the sake of conflict. My favorite.

I know more about cars than these fictional hillbillies. What the heck.

Old people problems: He says his friend has a 4.8 GPA and I'm sitting here like, "Is this a joke or did they change the scale since I was in high school?"

I just had a horrifying thought: one day I'm going to be reading a YA book about a kid making friends with an old lady and the old lady is going to be making cultural references to things from my childhood.

Oh god.

I swear to god if this is another concentration camp story about a giant narcissist who needs to be the most important girl to every boy I'm going to lose my shit.

I'm so confused right now.

I started out reading the audiobook for this one, but it felt all wrong and I had to switch to a physical copy.
