It's okay for 36-year-old men to get misty-eyed when reading this, right? Right...?

It's okay, Pa Kent...sometimes I think my son is an alien, too.

This feels like the right kind of tone to start a new year with--hopeful, uplifting, and inspirational.

Just once I'd like to read a story where the fox is dumb and naive instead of sly and crafty.

I like that Horst is getting his time in the sun in this book.

Well, metaphorically speaking. Real time in the sun would lead to Horst doing his best Human Torch impression, only without the unstable molecules making up his clothes or the ability to, you know, not turn into dust.

Not sure about the story just yet, but this is some beautiful art...

I think I remember reading this series when it was called Axis and equally puerile. Seriously, Marvel--we can't put a little bigger gap between major crossover events that feature heroes fighting evil versions of heroes based on pretenses that strain credulity like waking up the stairs strains my hamstrings?

Jawless Thor is hot.

I love Howard's style...that guy can write me a creepy vampire/necromancer tale anytime.

Digging the vibe on this...even though not much is happening, I can feel the story wave cresting over my head. And, this art is purty.

Gotta love the harbinger of doom that is the fetid goat stink...I think I'll pass on that being the last thing I experience before having my brain eaten, thanks.

This is highly entertaining. I'm not sure why I don't read more thrillers.

Somehow, this makes me want to wander around in a museum in the dark even more than I already do. I'm not the sharpest paper in the ream.

Not my usual bag of shenanigans, but I'm in the mood for a gripping page turner, and people tell me these cats deliver just that. Plus, Monster of Florence was fantastic.

Ah, I knew the virgin had it in him (because I knew he certainly didn't have it in anyone else--hey-oh!).

And, I had a feeling there was more to Loch's sister than meets the eye (oh, just STOP with the cleverness already, Sean...you're killing me...KILLING me).

It's irksome that I had none of Dairy's astonishing luck and abilities during my own lengthy tenure as a virgin.
