Trying to figure out if I'd like to be a blue whale for a day. On the one hand, there's the hugeness, which would be kind of awesome. On the other, krill don't sound particularly appetizing. Maybe if I could be a mac & cheese-eating blue whale. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Sometimes I like Quentin. Sometimes he annoys the living snot rockets out of me. Can't decide which is happening right now. Probably the former. I think.

It's about time we got some Rush references going. Now, what do I listen to while I read this part? Marathon? Analog Kid? Bravado? Color of Right? Hmmm. Let's go with...ah, got it--The Big Wheel.

Still highly entertaining, but dragging slightly at this point.

Visiting my parents this week and, as a result of reading this book, may or may not have spent an hour digging through boxes in their basement looking at G.I. Joes, Transformers, He-Man figures, M.A.S.K. figures, Starting Lineup figures, old D&D rulebooks, the Ghostbusters RPG, the Marvel RPG, and about 12 long boxes of comics. I also may or may not have made my 2-year-old son participate.

Someday, he'll thank me

All of the 80s references felt a little gimicky at first, but now I'm getting completely sucked in, and all I want to do is play D&D and video games with horrible graphics.
