So, is this really just straight-forward fantasy fare? There's a twist coming, right? Or did I totally misread what this book was?

Definitely a slow burner. Dragging a bit at this point, but I'm still intrigued. Then again, I'm intrigued by Saved by the Bell, so what do I know?

Digging this so far...Todd's got such a fun, old-school comics tone. Jokey and irreverent, but still action-packed and reverent toward the medium. And Craig's art is awesome.

Digging the tone and pacing on this one so far...feels like a slow burner. Exactly what I was in the mood for.

All of these peeps reading Dracula right now is making me want to reread it for the 8,472nd time.

This is proving to be a slog thus far, sadly...I'm amazed at how many words Bucky is cramming into panels, given that he's an artist by trade; you'd think he'd be all about letting the pictures speak for themselves...

This is rather, um, graphic. I recommend against reading it on a moving bus. Especially if one already tends toward motion sickness...

Not sure I can deal with reading the words "Snap to!" 8 billion more times in this book. MAKE IT STOP!

Dr. Warthorpe feels very Sherlockian in terms of his alternating periods of mania and listlessness.

So, wait, our main character's name is William James Henry? Weird. That covers the first names of three of the main characters in
The Camelot Shadow. I'm going to chalk that up to the fact that those silly Victorians were an unimaginative bunch when it came to naming dudes.

This book is tickling both my funny bone and my science bone. One of those bones is very small, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't like a good tickle.
