Note to self: in the future, avoid finishing an epic 11-volume graphic novel series while simultaneously completing a door-stopping 1,100-page fantasy book, especially when you're sleep-deprived, as it will lead to review brain lock. Also, remember to get milk at the store.

If only the pacing in the last quarter of this book was present in the first three quarters. Maybe Sanderson and I can do a "speed it the hell up and get to the good parts already, you jackanapes" class together.

Not that he really needs it, seeing as how the depth of the world building is so compelling even when things drag a bit...

Look, we all know this isn't the actual dead-is-dead death of Wolverine. So, we'll be judging this solely on the merits of whether or not it's a rippingly good yarn and worthy of being at least on instance of where a character as big as Wolverine bucks the kicket. Thus far, I'm not really digging his whole beard/slick hair look...it's like Bond meets Bonnaroo.
