Basically halfway through. Some really great stuff...also some very nearly shit stuff lol

Picked up the audiobook for Cyber Monday for ultra cheap so I can actually push through and tie up this loose end this year.

Finished Part 2 today. Should be through Part 4 by end of month probably.

God I'm already loving this so much. So immersed. I'm sad I took so damn long to get to it.

Really short progress today - shorter than hoped - but I'm quickly coming up on what is sure to be some GREAT material very soon. Hoping to get ahead this weekend so that I can finally finally finally finally dive in to Return to Edan next week and throughout December.

Ch. 2 was REALLY good. Major POV section from all 3 Ta’Veren from the Two Rivers, and all connected in cool ways. FIRE.

Unfortunately might not have time to read more before the first Diary video on Thrs. but these two have been packed so I guess it’s all good haha

On to The Lesser Devil next, and finally Tales, Vol. 2 after that, then I will have (hopefully) a month off before the Disquiet Gods e-ARC goes on sale.

Very long first chapter, but with a lot of cool shit divided between 4 POVs - one of which I was happy to see be an extended Min POV for the first time (her others so far have been quite brief).

Lots more than I can talk about in this simple update, but I'm excited to be back in this world with this story and these characters.

Again, forgot to mark this as started yesterday; now through the first 2 parts. Very good. Part One is truly special, especially the first half of it.

Read the Prologue I believe yesterday morning in preparation for my deep dive into this...hopefully middle of this month, and I am SO READY to be back in Eormenlond!

Forgot to update my reading of the last several days lmao

Tales of the Sun Eater, Volume 1 re-read has commenced. The Demons of Arae isn't quite so awe-inducing as it was the first time - nearly entirely because of desensitization LMAO

Finished my QAA re-read, which I now appreciate a hell of a lot more than I did the first go-around, though it still holds it’s place as one of my personal 3 least favorites of Sun Eater, alongside Tales v2 and EoS.

Also got through the House Marlowe essay for the first time, and that REALLY ups the appreciation I have for the political design of history, as it’s not simple IRL nor in this universe. Fantastic.

HUGE chunk read today.

Unironically pretty good book. Goofy decisions in it, but still good.

Prologue? Great

Part One? Pretty dang good...although the last couple chapters started going off the rails.

Part Two? Well, only read 1 chapter of it so far, and although I knew from word that there was 2nd person here, it still caught me off guard LMAO

Read Ch. 1 of QAA yesterday. Looking to work through this and The Road this weekend.

Finished with Deuteronomy already, marking my completion of the Torah - or the Pentateuch as I learned Christians tend to refer to it. ‘Twas a lot easier to digest overall than Numbers or Leviticus.

Next to move onto the works of History with the book of Joshua.
