Very nearly done with Part 1.

Well. The Ruocchslide has begun.

So many of these auxiliary tales are just so damn enjoyable.

Apparently forgot to update this yesterday so it’ll have to do for both then and now lol

I’m really enjoying everything that *doesn’t* have to do with Don Quixote, ironically enough.

Now on the last major section of Part I (the first half). Should have this done with the next week or so.

The tale of Cardenio has definitely been my favorite thing so far.

Not really anything more I can say except that this book is unfathomably good. 2/3's through this reread, will 100% finish by the end of the month. Likely a bit earlier.

It’s kind of odd how readily this switches back and forth between being absolutely delightful and being frustratingly not 😂

These (mis)adventures are just as tragic as they are amusing. I wasn’t expecting that angle to be honest 😂😅

Another major section complete. The next will take a few days, and the next after that several days, then I will be done with Part One (which is 49% of the book).

Chapter 43 will never not go hard. Several things that everybody continues to overlook that I'm just now noticing. So crazy.

Man there are actually so many references in these last few chapters of the first act of the book that take on new meaning after the series is done. It’s absurd how much it smacks now.

Once again had a slow day yesterday, but getting caught up again today!

Didn't get much done the last couple days, but a good bit this morning. Amazing how much more poignant every single emotional moment is knowing the entirety of what the remaining series has to offer.

Time to re-read this masterpiece *again*

Amazing what a couple chapters packed with too much information to track can do after the first like 8-9 chapters had basically nothing of note going on that you couldn’t summarize in a single sentence each lmao

Oh hey, something interesting!

The first third of this book has been the slowest part of the series so far, and *noticeably* so. I am actually kinda struggling.

First 6 chapters: the book is alright so far. Just really dealing with the next step from the moments that closed this plot in PoD, but it has been pretty slow to this point. Slower than any of PoD imo so far.
